media and society in general.

Q1. What is the important thing in this business w.r.t to Safety management
system?
Ans: Ground Service Providers (GSPs) are mandated to establish provisions for
safe ground operations. All the companies involved in ground handling must
strengthen traditional risk control practices and ensure safety risks are
managed in a systematic way. 

Q2.How do you see risk in the ground operations?


Ans: Learn how to manage risks in ground operations through proactive risk
assessment, mapping and mitigation actions and how to evaluate their
affectivity through safety performance monitoring.

Ans: As with many safety case regimes, we require the production of a Safety Case Report, which will
be submitted for regulatory assessment. The Safety Case Report is likely to include a description
and overview of the Safety Management System for a building.

The Visibility of Hazards

• Visible hazards – Are essentially obvious they can be


observed, smelt, heard, tasted or felt.

• Hidden hazards (Sometimes known as latent hazards)


are not so easily understood and can relate to either
physical hazards such as electricity or non-physical
related to poor training, stress, etc.

Registration in Pakistan.

•Gerry’s dnata is the first ground services provider to be awarded the


prestigious safety certification in Pakistan. ISAGO, GDP, IMS, certification are
the main pillars of Gerry’s Dnata
