Normal use :

- Assumed operation of the unit 10 hours/day and 2,500 hours/year.

- Use without frequent starting and stopping the machine (< 6 times/hour).

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE :

- Check components in order to avoid unit failure or capacity shortage.

- Replace anomalous or worn parts to avoid critical failure of the unit.

OUTDOOR UNIT : CLEANING THE HEAT EXCHANGER.


Always clean with water or dedicated product.

OUTDOOR UNIT : CLEANING THE BOTTOM PLATE.


Check if the unit is level and if the drain holes are free to assure good
evacuation of the condenswater during defrost.

Check for black spots and corroded parts.

OUTDOOR UNIT : CHECK FOR INSTALLATION MISTAKES.

1. Check if the outdoor unit is level and mounted with a minimum height of 15
cm from
ground level.
2. Check if the Y-joints are placed as discribed in the installation manual.
3. Check if the units in a multi system are installed in the correct order of
capacity.
4. The system is not under influence of strong winds.
5. Check for corrosion on the metal parts due to agressive environnements.
6. Check for correct ducting when an indoor application, also if the fresh air
intake is sufficient.
7. Check for short circuited airflows.
8. Check the state of the isolation of the copper pipes.
9. Check for correct electrical connections and fuses.

Disinfect to avoid growing bacteria and bad odeurs.

Rince the coils when signs of dust on the fan housing.

Preferably excecute the testing in heating operation.

CAUTION for the index of the system :

Excecute the test with an index of 100%. This means that all capacity
demanded by the indoors, can be delivered by the outdoor system.

How to calculate the index :


Multiply the sum of all outdoor units capacity with 25.
Take the sum of all indoor units capacity.
Compare the both, when outcomes are equal the index is 100%.
