RIGHTS OF CHILDREN

 Child must be given the means needed for its normal


development both maternally and spiritually. Hungary child
should be fed, sick child should be helped and homeless child
should be sheltered and secure.
SOME SPECIAL RIGHTS FOR CHILDREN

 Right to neglect exploration.


 Social security
 Right to name and nationality
 Right to free education
 Right to opportunity for play and recreation
 Right to special treatment, appropriate care if handicapped care
 Right to be among the first to receive protection and relief in time of disaster
 Right to freedom and dignity
 Right to enjoy these rights regardless of race, Colour , sex, religion and social
origin.
ACT FOR CHILD WELFARE

 Free and compulsory education act was enforced April 1, 2010.


 PNDT-1994
 Regulation of production , supply and distribution act-1992 ( infant milk
substitutes, feeding bottle and infant food)
 The juvenile justice act-2000 ( care and protction of children)
 The child labour-1986 (prohibition and regulation )
 Child marriage restraint act-1929
MAJOR CONSTITUTIONAL PROVISIONS FOR
SPECIAL GROUPS (CHILDREN)
ARTICLE – 21 A- provide free and compulsory education to all children of age 6-14 years.
ARTICLE -23- Bagger and other similar form of forced labour are prohibited
ARTICLE-24- age less than 14 years not allowed work in factory and mines.
ARTICLE 39 (F)- children are given opportunity to develop healthy envirment against moral
development.
ARTICLE 45- provide earily childhood care until the age of 6 years
ARTICLE 51 A (K)- parents and guardian to provide opportunities for education to his child b/w age
6-14 years

 The status of women in India has been subject to many great changes over the
past few millennia, in modern India , women have achieve high office.

 ARTICLE 14- Equality for women


 ARTICLE-15- the state not to discriminate against any citizen in ground only religion , race ,
caste and palace of birth.
 ARTICLE-16- equality in opportunity in all employment.
 ARTICLE-39- The state to direct its policy towards securing for men and women equally the
right to adequate means of livelihood.
 ARTICLE-42- work and maternity relief example- maternity leave.
 ARTICLE-46- Promote with special care like as hospital health care delivery system.
 ARTICLE-51- maintain dignity of women.
