WIRELESS POWER TRANSMISSION OR WIRELESS ENERGY TRANSMISSION

IS A METHOD OF ENERGY TRANSFER AND CONSISTS OF THE TRANSMISSION
OF ELECTRICAL POWER FROM A POWER SOURCE TO A CONSUMER LOAD
WITHOUT THE NEED FOR A MATERIAL MEDIUM OR ELECTRICAL
CONDUCTOR, IT IS A TERM GENERIC USED TO REFER TO A NUMBER OF
DIFFERENT ENERGY TRANSMISSION TECHNOLOGIES THAT USE AN
ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD TIME VARIABLE.

WIRELESS ENERGY
Wireless transmission is useful for electrical potential devices in cases where
the use of cables is inconvenient, dangerous, or not possible. In wireless
energy transmission, a emitting device connected to a power source, such as
a domestic electricity source, transmits energy through an electromagnetic
field through an intermediate space to one or more receiving devices, where
it is converted back to electric and used energy.
WIRELESS ENERGY
Wireless Energy uses many of the same fields and waves as wireless communication
devices such as radio, another familiar technology which involves energy transmitted
wirelessly by electromagnetic fields, used in telephones, radio and television broadcasts,
and WiFi. In radio communications the objective is the transmission of information,
therefore, the amount of energy that reaches the receiver is not so important as long as
it is sufficient for the signal-to-noise ratio to be so high that the information can be
received intelligibly.

How does wireless electric power work?
Step 1
A circuit (A) located in a wall socket converts the standard 50/60
Hertz current into 10 MHz and supplies the coil (B). The internal
oscillation of the transmitter coil causes it to emit a 10 MHz
magnetic field.

Step 2
The receiving coil (C) has exactly the same dimensions as
the emitting coil and its resonance at the same frequency,
and, in a process called magnetic induction, takes energy
from the magnetic field of the first coil (B).

Step 3
The energy of the oscillating magnetic field induces electric
current in the receiving coil, illuminating the bulb (D).
WIRELESS ENERGY
Wireless power came for the masses, which started as a MIT project a few
years ago and has now grown into a whole promising company called
WiTricity Corp. Which Tesla would be proud of. Based on magnetic
induction, it uses low frequency (10Hz) electromagnetic waves
("resonance") to transmit energy from one place to another through a coil
at each end.

TESTING THE COILS VOLTAGE
The Primary coil works with a
12VDC input, and this in turn
emits alternating current at its
output. The Secondary coil
receives this current through
magnetic fields converting the
direct current with a voltage of
140VDC
