and synthetic products
SHORT & LONG TERM EFFECT

• Short term effect of pollution:


• People may feel sick due to air pollution e.g. pneumonia or bronchitis, Air
pollution can also cause headaches, dizziness, and nausea. It can also cause
temporarily damage in the ozone layer or damage certain places like
contaminating beaches and oceans.
• Long term effects of pollution:
• Long term exposure to air pollution can cause severe lung diseases such as lung
cancer. Long term expose of the environment to pollution can cause climate
change that can effect ecosystems, food, water and habitats
• You can reduce the pollution on earth by simply tracking your carbon
footprint and minimising it. Start off small and work on yourself,
adjust small habits then begin to target your community. Raise
awareness and stand up for the issue so that your voice can be heard
and you are able to change the habits of many others in order to
impact a wider audience. More specifically you can:
