System Monitoring
 Connections
 To monitor connections:

Click the menu 'System Monitoring' in the left sidebar;

the 'System Monitoring' screen,tab 'Connections', is displayed,
showing a read-only summary (with the exception of linked parameter 'IP Address Distribution')
of the monitored connection data.
 Traffic
The gateway is constantly monitoring traffic within the local network and between the local network and the Internet.
You can view up-to-the-second statistical information about data received from and transmitted to the Internet (WAN)
and about data received from and transmitted to computers in the local network (LAN).

 To view traffic statistics:

Click tab 'Traffic'; the 'System Monitoring - Traffic' screen opens.

 System Log
The System Log displays a list of the most recent activity that has taken place on the gateway.

 To open the system log:

Click tab 'System Log'; the 'System Monitoring - System Log' screen opens.
 System Up Time
 To display the system up time:

Press tab 'System' to display the length of time that has passed since the system was last started.
 Voice over IP
 To monitor VoIP:

Click tab 'Voice over IP'; the 'System Monitoring - Voice over IP' screen opens.

Packet Recording
 Packet Recording
 Starting from Version 2.4.1 we added the ability to activate the DSP Packet Recording tool from the MP202 telnet.

 The Packet Recording feature enables the recording of all packets transmitted and received by the AC49x DSP.
This feature is essential for efficient debugging!

In order to activate the Packet recording tool (using the Ethereal or Wireshark capture tools):
o In case you are using the Ethereal, put the Ac49xPacketDissector.dll under
C:\Program Files\Ethereal\plugins\0.10.10 (0.10.10 is the version)
o In case you are using the Wireshark, put the Ac49xPacketDissector.dll under
C:\Program Files\Wireshark\plugins\0.99.5 (0.99.5 is the version)

Open a telnet to the MP202 and type:

• dsp_cmd pr 0 1 10 16 2 29
(1) Were 10.16.2.29 is the host PC that runs the ethereal capture (This address should be replaced!).
(2) Note: ‘dsp_cmd pr’ command has some other functionality. Make sure that you run this command only once.

• You can recognize the Packet Recording packets by UDP protocol & port 50000.
• If you cannot see the Packet Recording packets in the ethereal (but you can see UDP packets with port 50000)
then you can mark one packet (UDP, port 50000), press on “decode as” and then choose ‘AC49xAnalysis’.
