Introduction
 Maintains records of all the operations
that occur usually at the medical centers
in public institutions.

 Maintains two level of access:


 User level
 Doctor level
Purpose
 To computerize all details regarding patient
details & hospital details.

 Scheduling the appointment of patient with


doctors to make it convenient for both.

 Scheduling the services of specialized doctors


properly so that facilities provided by hospital
are fully utilized in effective and efficient
manner.

 The information of the patients should be kept
up to date and there record should be kept in
the system for historical purposes.

 Keeping the information of doctors.

 Keeping the records of the bills paid by the


patients.

 Keeping the records of salary structure of the


doctors according to their scale.
Drawbacks Of Current System
 use a manual system for the management and
maintenance of critical information.

 requires numerous paper forms, with data


stores spread through out the hospital
management infrastructure.

 Often information is incomplete or does not


follow management standards.

departments.

 Multiple copies of the same information exist


in the hospital and may lead to inconsistencies
in data in various data stores.

Functional Requirements
 Maintains two level of section: Patient section
and Doctor section.

 maintains Department sections in which all the


details of departments are mentioned.

 maintains Doctors section in which all the


details of doctors are mentioned.

hours will be mentioned as doctor
information/details.

 Patient can make an appointment that he/she


selected from doctor list that displayed to it
after selecting the department from department
list.

 Mention the availability timing of Doctors.


Non-Functional Requirements
 Using unique id and password user can log in
at any time.

 Easy to maintain all the information related to


doctor or patient, in the system.

 System should be reliable and efficient.
