SATURday
The role of science and technology in fostering sustainability is
increasingly crucial as global resources dwindle and climate
change challenges intensify. Technology significantly
contributes to sustainable development across social, economic,
and environmental dimensions, yet political and social
resistance often hampers necessary changes in production and
consumption.
2.Chemistry:
Green Chemistry: Minimizing environmental impact in chemical processes and
products.
Waste-to-Energy Conversion: Transforming waste into clean energy through
chemical processes.
Carbon Capture and Sequestration: Methods for capturing and storing CO₂ to
combat climate change.
3.Biology:
Biodiversity Conservation: Protecting ecosystems and species for a healthy
planet.
Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security: Innovations in farming to preserve
ecosystems while feeding the world.
Marine Biology and Ocean Conservation: Preserving marine ecosystems and
promoting sustainable fishing.

In a world facing unprecedented challenges—climate
change, resource depletion, and social inequality—the
quest for sustainable solutions has never been more
critical. At the heart of this endeavor lies an often-
overlooked yet powerful tool: mathematics. From
optimizing renewable energy systems to modeling
population dynamics, math is an essential language that
helps us understand complex systems and make informed
decisions for a sustainable future. This exhibition, “Math
for Building a Sustainable Tomorrow,” invites you to
explore how mathematical principles and innovative
techniques can drive sustainable development. Through
interactive displays and hands-on activities, we will
showcase real-world applications of math in areas such as
environmental science, urban planning, and resource
management. Join us on this journey as we discover how
mathematical thinking can empower us to analyze data,
forecast trends, and develop solutions that not only meet
our needs today but also safeguard the planet for

In an era where the challenges of climate change, resource depletion, and social
inequality loom larger than ever, the need for a sustainable tomorrow has never
been more urgent. Our planet is a shared home, and its future depends on the
choices we make today. Social studies provides a critical lens through which we
can understand the interconnectedness of our world—examining how our social,
economic, and environmental systems influence one another.
Together, we can envision a future where innovation and collaboration pave the
way for a thriving planet. Let’s embark on this exploration to understand our role
in building a sustainable tomorrow, recognizing that every action, no matter how
