1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background
OZMA NIGERIA COMPANY LIMITED is embarking on the construction of a state-of-
the-art Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Production Plant, Storage, and Dispensing
Depot Terminal with a capacity of 20 MMSCFD and Crude Oil Modular Refinery and
Storage Facility of a 20,000 BPD capacity. The facility shall utilize natural gas from
Utorogu gas plant while crude shall be sourced from Abura Field (OML 65). The
entire facility is located at Urhie Egoro Bush, Ekrota Town, Udu Local Government
Area, Delta State.
Upon completion, the LPG plant will generate the following expected product outputs
after fractionation:
1. Methane – Ethane Mixture (NGL): 1,862,000 scfd, to be produced through the
De-methanizer & Ethanizer processes.
2. Propane – Butane Mixture (LPG): 15,398,000 scfd, to be produced through
the De-propanizer & Butanizer processes.
The modular refinery is proposed to hold a throughput capacity of 20,000 bpd of
Crude oil which shall be refined and separated into different fractions based on their
boiling points through fractional distillation.
1.2 Project Objective
As part of her drive for expansion in the oil and gas industry, the facility Owner, OZMA
has indicated readiness to construct the facility with capacity to process up to
20mmscf per day of liquified petroleum gas. The proposed facility is expected to have
the capacity to supply LPG gas to customers and shall upscale production to an
optimized throughput capacity of 52mmscfd upon implementation.
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is also expected to be produced as well. The inlet
gas shall be sourced from gas feedstock transported from Utorogu Gas Plant via a
pipeline infrastructure to the proposed facility for processing and thereafter primarily
conveyed for bulk shipment via an export pipeline to a jetty location. Products shall
also be dispatched through Product Distribution Trucks (PDTs) from the Facility
Loading Terminal.

1.3 Purpose
The purpose of this document is to report the weekly progress of the project between
14th OCTOBER – 20th OCTOBER 2024 (weekending 20th OCTOBER, 2024).
