INTRODUCTION
The trick gets introduced in a casual situation when you don’t have a deck of cards around. Hence
it doesn’t have the best or carefully written script. The script I use to introduce the trick is :-
You’ve really caught me off guard I don’t really have a deck of cards with me and I would really
like to show you a card trick. What I do have with me is a playing card and I want you to keep it
safe, we’ll come to it later.
For situations like this I am prepared. A week or 10 days ago what I did was I shuffled up a deck
of cards and dropped them one by one on the table and got a friend film it and I have the video
footage right in this device.
WHAT YOU NEED
➢ A touch-screen mobile phone.
➢ A video player app that pauses the video with a single or double-tap on the screen.
I personally use an android phone which has an in-built video player that does the same, if your in-built
video player does something different then see if you can change it in settings or get any other video
player from Google Play Store or Apple App Store - MxPlayer or VLC Player to name a couple of them.

Copy the 4 videos into a folder so that whenever you want to perform it, you do not
have to search for them. You can simply open the folder from your phone’s file manager
OR browse to the folder from the video player and be ready to perform.
FILE NAMES
The file name for the normal video is – VID0A0223191847. I kept it so because that is somewhat
how videos get named in the gallery. No-one will ever notice it. It is for our reference only.
VID0A0223191847 = 0A makes sure that the normal video ends up on the top or bottom if the
files are sorted name-wise.
For the force video files, the force card names have been written right after VID, for example
VIDJC0223191847 – JC stands for Jack of Clubs. The same applies to 3♦ and K♦ which are
represented as 3D and KD respectively.

When the video gets played, most video players display the file name momentarily at the top or
bottom of the screen, you can re-check it from there.
PERFORMANCE
During performance you play the normal video first and show it to the audience. Once your
audience believes that everything is normal and you’ve instructed them the procedure – you
change the video – either by hitting the next button or going back and selecting the next video
while making an excuse of switching the phone to flight mode or silent or clearing notifications.
Since both the video starts the same way there is a way to differentiate between the two during
the start. The un-edited video starts right away while the edited video starts with a second-long
fade-in. Do not worry about it – it flies past the audience every single time.
If you find that your participant is taking way too much time to pause the video then interrupt
saying – we have a short video playing. Let me restart it.
REVELATION OPTIONS
➢ Carry a single playing card in your wallet or inside the phone cover.
➢ Write the prediction on a business card or a piece of paper or a paper napkin
➢ Message on their phone number or social media.
➢ Say out loud or whisper it to someone before you begin.
