    Change Request (CR) Form

    General Instructions:
    This Change Request (CR) form is to be used for all code changes for SuperPhase & Pack Main Line (PML),
    to be completed by GM or ATS. The Change Request form may also be used for all changes (not just code)
    in conjunction with approved COR and/or approved Just Do it (JDI) by the ATS Project Manager (PM). The
    CR is to track changes to Robot, Vision, SuperTrak, Sealer, Promess, PLC, HMI Screens and Major
    Parameters. This form is to be used from Red Tag to PPAP and until final handover of software to GM
    (Green Tag).

    GM Site Instructions:

    PLC:
    For ALL site code change(s), all changes to be tagged with a _gCIWork DINT. Each update should utilize an
    available bit per change. A detailed description should be associated to the bit referencing the CR
    description. Everywhere the logic is changed the tag should added to clearly capture every change
    associated with the specific change. Bit can be deleted once CR is fully implemented.

    Vision:
    For ALL site code change(s), all changes to be tracked through customer’s master version tracking
    sheet/log and a complete CR Form.

    Robot:
    For ALL site code change(s), all changes to be tagged with a comment (beginning and end). Each update
    should utilize a comment. Everywhere the logic is changed the comment should added to clearly capture
    every change associated with the specific change. The comment can be deleted once CR is fully
    implemented

    Promess, Sealer, SuperTrak, Major Parameters, HMI Changes:


    For ALL site code change(s), all changes be screenshot. A detailed description should be associated to the
    screenshot referencing the CR description.

    Change Description and Reason:


    This change is to confirm function and settings of the rodlocks.
    Rodlocks are not to be cycled during normal sequencing. This is due to the softstack/module compressing/settling
    over time, causing a loss in applied force when the rodlocks are engaged. The design intent is that the rodlocks
    only engage when control power is lost (ie. fence open/E-Stop/power outage). This is accomplished by using a 2
    position - spring return valve. Any time output power is lost on the EOAT, the rodlocks will engage. The robot will
    command disengage at the beginning of all programs to confirm the rodlocks are in the correct state.

    REFERENCE DOCUMENTATION WILL ALSO BE STORED IN THE CR WORK INSTRUCTION
    FOLDER. WARNING: If not pulled directly from the ATS Work Instructions Folder – DO
    NOT USE.
    ALL Approve Work Instructions (in the CR forms) are stored on the ATS Module Assembly
    Colloboration Site.

    Change Details/Screenshots:
    If the valve is incorrect, or the MHgrip is not configured correctly, do not continue with the change. Please
    inform @Brubacher, David .

    Upgrade Procedure:

    1. Take an MD Backup of the robot and upload it to Versiondog

    2. Confirm correct valve is used:


    (It should be a VQC2101N-S1)

    4. Remove Valve 2 from “PREPARE TO PICK”

    5. Add “Grip Part” command immediately after the prepare to pick:

    6. Add the comment “DSBL RDLK PH 03-04” above the Grip Part(2)

    7. Remove any other usage of Valve 2 from programs. Print & use checklist to make sure no
    programs are forgotten.
