Bhavan’s College (Autonomous) invites Applications for the Teaching posts to be filled
purely on temporary (Ad-hoc) basis for the academic year 2022-23. Interested and eligible
candidates are requested to post their applications to college office address and mail a soft copy
of the same along with all self-attested educational testimonials to
[email protected] on or before 1st. June 2022. The interviews of the eligible
candidates will be held through offline mode, the date of the interview along with its schedule
which will be intimidated on the college website www.bhavans.ac.in. at a later date.

The details of the subject-wise vacant positions, qualification, rules, regulations,


conditions of appointments are enclosed herewith

Appropriate Remuneration based on the qualification and workload will be provided

[A] Minimum qualifications required:-


I) Assistant Professor in Humanities, Commerce and Science
1) A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the
grading system is followed) in the relevant or as subject equivalent degree from an Indian
/foreign University.

2) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National
Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC / CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the
UGC, like SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the
University Grants Commission (Minimum Standard and Procedure for Award of M.Phil.
/ Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as
the case may be exempted from NET/SET:

Provided further, candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July, 11, 2009,
shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Bye-
laws/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall
be exempted from the recruitment requirements of NET/SET for and appointment of
Assistant Professor or equivalent positions.

Note:

1) NET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for
which NET/SET is not conducted. However, Ph.D. degree shall remain the minimum
eligibility for appointment of Assistant Professor in such disciplines as per UGC
Regulation 2018.

II) In charge Superintendent /Registrar

1) A Master‘s degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or


an equivalent professional degree like Master in Management Studies , with at least 55%
marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

2) A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of working of the college office

3) A retired registrar from a reputed college can also apply


[B] INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1. Candidate has to ensure that, he / she is eligible in all respect as per the eligibility
conditions.

2. All these posts are on purely temporary (Ad-hoc basis) for the academic year 2022-
23 only on consolidated salary

3. Candidates application should be upload on email address:


[email protected] along with self-attested documents of educational
qualifications, experience etc and posted also as a hard copy to the College address..
Candidates are requested to refer the college website from time to time, as all
information like Documents required, Scrutiny / Online Interview dates / results / notices
/ various schedules, etc. will be displayed on the same. No personal communication
will be sent to candidates.

4. Candidates are requested to bring their original testimonials documents during the
interview

5. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should submit separate
application/s

6 The College reserves the right to fill-in any of the vacancies advertised.

7. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the
prescribed qualifications and it is for the candidates themselves to ensure that they
possess the prescribed qualifications. No inquiry will be entertained regarding
eligibility.

8 Incomplete applications, applications without required enclosures, and applications not


submitted in the manner, procedure and within prescribed time by the university shall
be summarily rejected.

9 In the event of any information being found false, incomplete or incorrect the
candidature / appointment is liable to be cancelled /terminated.

10. Canvassing, direct or indirect will be disqualification.
