Luria launched a new interpretation of the role of Kabbalah in preparation for the coming
of the Messiah. All being is to have been in exile, which is separated from God, since the
beginning of creation, and the task of restoring everything said his proper order, the

Frederick V, Elector of the Palatniate of the Rhine

the Rhine, and Ludwig IV, Holy Roman Emperor, who married Matilda, the daughter of
Rudolf I of Habsburg, Holy Roman Emperor. Ludwig's daughter, Matilda of Wittelsbach,
was the father of Frederick I, Elector of Brandenburg. Frederick IV, Elector Palatine
descendant of both Frederick I of Brandenburg and his sister, Margaret of Hohenzollern,
who married Herman Margrave of Hesse.

Frederick IV was the father of Frederick V, Elector of the Palatinate of the Rhine. The
Protestant conspiracy around Frederick V went under the cover of the Rosicrucians.
Ultimately, the Rosicrucians declared themselves to the world through the notorious
Rosicrucian Manifestos. The first of the Rosicrucian manifestos was the Fama
Frateritatis, appearing in 1614, part of a larger Protestant treatise titled, The Universal
and General Reformation of the Whole Wide World, an allegorical history of the
Rosicrucians, which was followed by a second tract a year later. The Manifestos
purported to issue from a secret, “invisible” fraternity of “initiates” in Germany and
France, and vehemently attacked the Catholic Church and the old Holy Roman Empire.

The Rosicrucians derive their name from Christian Rosencreutz, which according to the
manifestos, founded the order of a century earlier, a poor descendant of nobility, who
were separated at a young age with a Jesuit order, before traveling to the Middle East to
magic learning, alchemy and Kabbalah. Rosenkreuz is German for "rose cross", referring
both to the symbol of the Rosicrucians, which is a cross placed above the five-petaled
rose of Kabbalah.

The Rosicrucian Enlightenment, Frances Yates suggests that a part of the new Lurianic
Kabbalah should be considered as figuring out the manifestos. Jacob Boehme, born in
nearby Silesia in 1575, the man who came to articulate Lurianic Kabbalah for Christian
audiences in Europe, became active in around the same time, and that trend is likely
influenced by the Rosicrucians. Christian Rosenkreuz, the hero of the Rosicrucians
stories, Yates claims, "describes in the Fama travels in the East where he is back with a
new kind of Magia and Cabala, which he incorporated into his own vision."[9

The Fama Relates the life story of
Christian Rosenkreuz, who supposedly founded the Rosy Cross brotherhood, as early
as the 1300's. Like Luria, Rosenkreuz was said to have traveled to Egypt, and upon his
return to Europe, to have established a secret "House of the Holy Spirit", modeled on

A further Rosicrucian tract appeared in 1616 under the name Chemical Wedding of
Christian Rosenkreuz. The work refers to a Rosicrucian plot to strengthen the Protestant
movement against the Church, an important dynastic alliance, forged primarily through
the efforts of John Dee, between the German Prince Frederick IV, Elector Palatine of the
Rhine, and Elizabeth Stuart , daughter of James I Stuart, king of England. The
Protestant conspirators had hoped that King James, who appeared to the Protestant
cause to support, would come to the assistance of his son-in-law Frederick, in the case
of a revolt against the Catholic Church and its Habsburg supporters.

In Chemical Wedding , is Rosenkreuz associated with an order of chivalry. As Frances

Yates has pointed out, as a necessary part of his future married Elizabeth Stuart,
Frederick was invested with the Order of the Garter a week before the wedding.
Therefore, the "rose cross" of the Rosicrucians is derived from the dual symbolism of the
Order of the Garter, being the Kabbalistic rose of the House of York, but also that the

Having been offered the throne of Bohemia by rebellious Protestants, Frederick moved
to Prague with his family, an insult to the Church, that the Thirty Years War beaten down.
Frederick's forces were led outside Prague. Contrary to the expectations of the
Rosicrucians, James does not have the assistance of England in support of his son-in-
law, and the movement ended in utter disgrace. Within two years, Frederick and
Elizabeth had driven into exile in the Netherlands, and Heidelberg was overrun by
Catholic troops.

The Freemasons
Johann Valentin Andrea

During the Thirty Years War, Johan Valentin Andrea, the author of the Rosicrucian
manifestos, a network of secret societies known as the Christian unions. According to
Andrea's guidelines, each society was headed by an anonymous prince, assisted by
twelve others divided into groups of three, each of them to a specialist in a particular
sphere of study. The purpose of these unions was to protect the church persecution.

Almost all founding members of the Royal Society were Freemasons. According to the

Elias Ashmole

Boyle also had intimate relations with the Royal Society. Another initiate was Elias
Ashmole, antiquarian and expert chivalric orders, together with astrologer William Lilly,
founded a Rosicrucian lodge in London in 1646. This lodge was based on the utopian
ideal of the creation of a new Atlantis, as put forth by Francis Bacon, that the golden
age before the fall of Adam symbolized, when humanity was spiritually perfect.

The Freemasons were often suspected after the English Civil War, although their position
during the affair is unclear. In 1642, when King Charles I of England, the son of King
James, and brother of Elizabeth Stuart, the wife of Frederick of the Palatinate of the
Rhine, was trying to arrest for obstructive behavior, five MPs the English Civil War broke
out, and Oliver Cromwell assumed command of the parliamentary forces. Charles I got
the chance to escape, but was recaptured later, and finally, in 1649, was tried and
beheaded. When Cromwell died in 1658, Charles II, the late king's son, was invited to
reign as king of England. The "Restoration" of Charles II Stuart on the throne thus

King George I of Britain

Freemasonry came to be more closely associated with the Stuart cause with the
abdication of James II. When James II, King of England, King Charles II's brother and
successor, an explanation for Liberty of Conscience, to give the followers of Catholicism
issued protection he was forced to leave the throne. The throne was then offered jointly
to William of Orange and his wife Mary. William and Mary were cousins​​. Mary was the
daughter of James II, while William was the son of James II's sister Mary, Princess Royal

uprising was called a Jacobite Rising, due to their support of James II, which is derived

practice, the Grand Lodge, which was founded only three years after the coronation of
William of Orange, supported the new German monarchy at a time when many
Englishmen were strongly opposed to it. The Grand Lodge, founded in 1717, initially
consisted of only one degree of initiation. Within five years after the establishment of the
Lodge, two additional degrees were added when the system consisted of three steps:
Apprentice, Fellow Craft and Master Mason. These degrees are commonly known as
the "Blue Degrees", the color blue is symbolically important in them, and have the first
three degrees of nearly all Masonic systems remained since.

The new Grand Lodge was reportedly very strict in its rule prohibiting political
controversy within the lodges. However, during the subsequent generations, members
of the Hanoverian royal family were Grand Masters. Augustus Frederick (1773-1843),
the ninth son of George III, was Grand Master of the thirty years before his death.
George's father was the son of George II, Frederick Loius Prince of England, who
married Augusta of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg, a descendant of Ferdinand of Habsburg,
and through him from the bin Yahya family of Portugal.

George III married Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, the granddaughter of Abram

Petrovich Gannibal, a black Jew Falasha of Ethiopia, brought to Russia by Peter the
Great, where he was a Major-General. Gannibal was first taken to Istanbul at the court of
the Ottoman sultan, and then taken by the Russian Ambassador, on the orders of his
superiors, including Pyotr Tolstoy, the great-grandfather of Leo Tolstoy. Gannibal was
baptized in 1705, with Peter the Great as his godfather, and later became the lover of
Elizabeth Albertine, Queen Charlotte's mother.

During the time in France, he became friends with leading Illuminati philosophers like
Diderot, Montesquieu and Voltaire, which earned him the "dark star of the
Enlightenment". Gannibal and his second wife had five children, including a son Osip.
Osip in turn had a daughter Nadezhda, who was the mother of Alexander Pushkin.[14

Prior to that, it was George's older brother, who later became King George IV, held the
master position. A subsequent royal Grand Master was King Edward VII, son of Queen
Victoria. Edward served as Grand Master for 27 years when he was the Prince of Wales.
The most recent royal Grand Master to become a king was the Duke of York, later
becoming King George VI, reigning 1936/52.

Frederick II "the Great" of Prussia

The English Grand Lodge was decidedly pro-Hanoverian, and his conviction against
political controversy really boils down to a support of the Hanoverian status quo. Yet the
Grand Lodge managed both sides of the controversy, and a new branch of
Freemasonry was created to help the Stuart cause and the pattern of the ancient
Templars. The man who reportedly founded Knights Templar Freemasonry was one of
the supporters of James III, the successor of James II, Michael Ramsey, of the Royal
Society.

English Masonry lost all trace of affection for the Stuart cause. It was especially in
France, where the Stuart family resort that Freemasonry was definitely linked to the
cause of the Stuarts, who, it was to be believed, represented the "Grail" family,
descended from the Knights Templar of Scotland. A major figure of the Jacobite cause
was Charles Radclyffe. In 1725, Radclyffe is said to have founded a lodge in Paris, the
first such one outside England, and was eventually recognized master of all French
lodges. While English Freemasonry offered three degrees of initiation, which was
universal throughout the order about 1730, Radclyffe seems to have been responsible
for the issue, if not actually inventing, Scottish Rite Freemasonry, which introduced
higher degrees, and promised initiation into greater and more profound mysteries
supposedly preserved and handed down in Scotland.

The Jacobites claimed that a Masonic lodge was established in Scotland, during the
early eighteenth century, which drew its charter of a surviving Templar chapter in Bristol,
but already in use for several hundred years. It was stated that, during the Crusades, a
small group of "Syrian Christians", who claimed descent back to the Essenes,
understood as the Sabians of Harran, referred to as "Johannite Christians" were saved
from the Muslims by the Knights Templar. When they left Jerusalem, the Gnostic
Christians eventually settled in Scotland, and founded a new chapter of the Knights

James III adopted the Templar title "Chevalier St. George." His son, Charles Edward,
"Bonnie Prince Charlie", also known as the Young Pretender, was inducted into the
Order of Knights Templar on September 24, 1745, the same year in which he led the
next major Jacobite Rising, by invading Scotland. Charles was the son of James Francis
Edward Stuart, better known as the Old Pretender, himself the son of James II. The
Bonnie Prince was symbolically crowned King Charles III by the clergy of the Scottish
Episcopal Church. However, a year later, he was disastrously defeated at the Battle of
Culloden Moor, and the Scots' attempt to take and install a Stuart king London were
foiled.

In Paris, in 1758, Jacobites participated in a Great Council of Emperors of the East and
the West, a Rite of Perfection, consisting of twenty-five degrees, the highest of the
Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret, organized incorporated into the symbolism of their
political aspirations of a return of the House of Stuart to the throne of England and
Scotland. In 1762, Frederick the Great of Prussia, the head of the Rite, was presented
the constitutions of the "Antient and Accepted Scottish Rite ', and rearranged the

Frederick, who was mainly responsible for the rise of Prussia to power, was the great-
grandson of Frederick V, Elector Palatine of the Rhine, and Elizabeth Stuart. His father
was King Frederick William I, and his mother Princess Sophia Dorothea of Hanover,
sister of George II of England. The Council of Emperors of the East and the West
inherited the insignia of the personal emblem Frederick the Great, the two-headed eagle
of the Habsburgs featured ..

While most sources placed the official birth of Freemasonry at 1717, Masonic references
clearly indicated that the organization's history went back much further than this.

The adjacent diagram, based on my research in both Masonic and non-Masonic

sources, depicts the roots of the Order along with its historical and modern-day lines of

an influence on the Masonic Order.

However, those depicted are the main sects and religions to which the existence of
Freemasonry and the New Age movement may be attributed. The names have
changed, but the beliefs, tactics, and designs of the groups have remained essentially

The history of Freemasonry, I discovered, was also the history of the secret societies,
and the history of the secret societies is the history of organized occultism—particularly
in the Western world. Perhaps the most complete history of organized occultism has
been provided by Albert Pike in his 861 page occult classic entitled—"Morals and
Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry" (more commonly
referred to by Masons as simply Morals and Dogma). Drawing from the sources
available to him as the long-time leader of Freemasonry (1859-1891), Pike was able to
trace the chronological growth and spread of the Mysteries over the face of the earth
from ancient Babylon down to the present-day Masonic Order.

In reference to the esoteric doctrines of the Mysteries, Pike states:

lost, constituted, under other names, what we now call Masonry, or Free, or Frank-
Masonry . . . The present name of the Order, and Its titles, and the names of the

this or the other country, Masonry existed as it now exists, the same in spirit and at
heart . . . before even the first colonies emigrated into Southern India, Persia, and again
back in Egypt(where it was officially is conceived and started as a first time ), but

Pike goes on to remark, "We teach the truth of none of the legends we recite. etc.

Nathan Bedford Forrest.

It may be no surprise, given that Forrest earned a lot of money in the slave trade (up to $
50,000 per year, then worth much more than now), he was a supporter of the
Confederate States of America. After the war was declared (April 12, 1861) he
volunteered as a private soldier in the Confederate Army. When he saw how bad the
equipment of the army, he offered to finance. Tennessee from out of pocket a regiment
of volunteers His superiors and the governor of his state, who were surprised that a rich
man had enrolled, so (influence) as a common soldier appointed him colonel.

Confederate Brigadier General George Gordon, would Forrest in Memphis went and told
him about the new organization, which Forrest would have replied: "That's good, damn

convention in Nashville named first Grand Wizard, or president, of the Klan. In 1869,

THE SALAFI JAMAL UD DIN AL AFGHANI Jamal ud Din al Afghani

Beginning in the 1820’s, a group of missionaries was appointed by a combined

movement of Oxford University, the Anglican Church, and Kings College of London
University, under Scottish Rite Freemasonry, as part of a plot to foster the creation of an
occult brotherhood in the Muslim world, dedicated to the use of terrorism on behalf of
the Illuminati in the City of London.[1] The leading promoters of the Oxford Movement
were Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, Lord Palmerston of the Palladian Rite, and
Edward Bullwer-Lytton, the leader of a branch of Rosicrucianism that developed from
the Asiatic Brethren. The Oxford movement was also supported by the Jesuits. Also
involved were the British royal family itself, and many of its leading prime ministers and
aides.

Benjamin Disraeli.

Benjamin Disraeli was Grand Master of Freemasonry, as well as knight of the Order of
the Garter. It was in Coningsby, that he confessed, through a character named Sidonia,
modeled on his friend Lionel de Rothschild, that, “the world is governed by very different
personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes.” Of the
influence of the secret societies, Disraeli also remarked, in Parliamentary debate:

One of the Bab’s followers, Mirza Hoseyn Ali Nuri, announced that he was the
manifestation the “One greater than Himself”, predicted by the Bab, assuming the title of
Baha Ullah, meaning in Arabic “Glory of God”. Baha Ullah was descended from the
rulers of Mazandaran, a province in northern Iran, bordering the Caspian Sea in the
north. These were an Ismaili dynasty, who had intermarried with descendants of

Baha Ullah founded the Bahai faith, which drew on a mix of Islam, Christianity,
Zoroastrianism and Judaism, but claimed to supercede all other religions in a “one world
faith”. The principal Bahai tenets are the essential unity of all religions and the unity of
humanity. Bahais believe that all the founders of the world’s great religions have been
manifestations of God and agents of a progressive divine plan for the education of the
human race. Therefore, according to the Bahais, despite their differences, the world’s
great religions teach an identical truth.

However, the Bahais quickly found themselves disliked in Persia for their extremism. In
1852, a Bahai leader was arrested for the attempted assassination of the Shah of
Persia, after which the movement was suppressed, and many members were exiled to
Baghdad and Istanbul. Throughout this time, as reports Robert Dreyfuss, the Bahai
leaders maintained close ties to both Scottish Rite Freemasonry and various movements
that began to proliferate throughout India, the Ottoman Empire, Russia and even Africa.
