ACCOUNTING ADMNISTRATIVE
Our client, a multinational company specialized in telecommunications is looking for an
accounting Administrative to accompany the strong development of its activities in
Cameroon - Douala

Job Purpose/Summary

The Accounting Administrative will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial
records and transactions. By providing exceptional support in financial management,
compliance, and reporting. He plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and
operational efficiency of the organization. Through meticulous attention to detail, adherence
to ethical standards, and effective communication, this position contributes to the overall
success and sustainability of the company.

Duties & Responsabilities

1. Financial Record Keeping:


- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Record financial transactions and ensure they are properly documented.

2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:


- Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payment of bills.
- Manage accounts receivable, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.

3. Bank Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements with company records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

4. Financial Reporting:
- Assist in prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assit to generate reports on financial status, including income statements and balance
sheets.

5. Tax Preparation:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.

6. Audit Support:

- Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.


- Address auditor inquiries and ensure the accuracy of financial information.

7. Data Entry and Management:


- Enter financial data into accounting software.
- Maintain and update databases with accurate financial information.

8. Administrative Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and managing
correspondence.
- Schedule appointments and meetings related to financial matters.

9. Customer and Vendor Communication:


- Communicate with customers and vendors regarding billing and payment issues.
- Address inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.

10. Compliance and Best Practices:


- Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes.

11. Support Senior Accountants:


- Assist senior accountants and finance managers with various tasks and projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Educational Background:
1. Degree Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a
related field.

Technical Knowledge:
1. Accounting Principles:
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

2. Financial Reporting:
- Knowledge of preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income
statements, and cash flow statements.

3. Tax Regulations:
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.

4. Accounting Software:

- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.


- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.

5. Microsoft Office Suite:


- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data
analysis tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for report preparation and presentations.
