Citylines knit
BY REBECCA MCKENZIE / RAGING PURLWIND RAGINGPURLWIND ON RAVELRY
Citylines is a fun cowldana design that is inspired by skyscraper buildings and the grid
layout of cities. The main woven stitch gives a lovely texture to this design and represents
an aerial view of a city. The fun eyelet border makes a simple and beautiful edge and
mimics the look of the bright lights and angles of skyscraper buildings.

SPECIAL TECHNIQUES
For the increases in this pattern, use the backwards loop cast on shown here:
https://youtu.be/D3cBYgI6xeg
This cast on blends in well with the woven slip stitch pattern.
To seam the cast on and bind off edges to create the cowldana use the Invisible Horizontal seam
technique seen in this video here: https://youtu.be/KbGOrJbSn7g
