STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Academics:
I completed my secondary education in 2012 with 7.2 CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) from
Bal Vikas Progressive School, Haryana and my higher secondary education in 2014 with 60.20% from
DAV Centenary Public School, Haryana. I completedtheBachelor of Technology (B.
Tech.)inComputer Science and Engineering, withspecialization in Cloud Computing, from
Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (2014-2018) with a CGPA of
6.21 on 10-point scale. As a Technology Graduate, I learned a lot of concepts and acquired
exceptional skillsin the field ofComputer Science.For my college project, I did my internship at
Hongyi JIG Rapid Technologies, one of the leading Hong Kong-based product designing and
manufacturing company, from June 2017 to August 2017. I was trained in Java within a great work
environment and supportive seniors providing hands-on experience during the internship period.
Work Experience:
Post my under-graduation, I started to train myself in digital marketing to enter the corporate world. In
August 2018, Igot achance to work withTHE FLASHBACK ENTERPRISES (August 2018 to August
2019), a restaurant and food delivery company. I was hired for the position of Digital Marketing
Executive where I was responsible for handling the social media handles and other digital platforms of
the company in order to reach an enormous audience. While working with FLASHBACK, I enhanced my
skills in website development and marketing on digital platforms including Google, Facebook,
Instagram, gaining a major exposureof how a business markets its products and services to the right
audience.
In August 2019, I got an opportunity to be a part of WIPRO. I accepted the opportunity and started
working as a Network Administrator at WIPRO LIMITED (August 2019 to August 2020). Working at a
Multinational company provided me with immense exposure to brush up my skills and a supporting
environment to increase my knowledge and also be a part of cultural activities. I was a part of Network
team where we were responsible for identifying and solving the network-related queries and also for
the configuration of network hardware including servers, routers and switchesatNIC(National
Informatics Centre).
Why Graduate Certificate in Mobile Application Design and Development at Lambton College?
As a Computer Science graduate, I always had a keen interest in latest technologies and the way they
work.After completion of my graduation and gaining work experience, I feel the need of enhancing my
skills. Looking at the uses of mobileapplications by the students and employees for work,
entertainment, banking and other tools like calculators that are now a part of daily life and the
organizations shifting to digital platforms require mobile application to keep in touch with their
customers and sell their services and products with just a mobile application, is the reason I am
applying forthe two-year Mobile Application Design and Development course at Lambton
College, May 2021 intake.
In this course, I will learn Java, iOS and Swift programming that are interesting and helpful while
developing an application for various Operating Systems. Also, I will be able to develop secure and
quality software by learning Software quality assurance testing and web security modules that are
included in the course. My research in education systems around the world made me choose Lambton
College that provides a good quality of education with some specialized courses. According to Research
Infosource Inc. annual list, Lambton College currently ranks #1 Research College in Ontario and #2
across Canada.The campus of Lambton College is equipped with latest technologies and experienced
staff. Also, it provides a two-year program with a co-op semester, which will help gain valuable work
experience. Lambton College is situated in Toronto, capital of the province of Ontario and a major
Canadian city. The Canadian Education provides a great value to employees working in India. The

support of the Canadian Government for international students and the friendly environment of Canada
will help me enhance knowledge and skills simultaneously.
Learning Outcomes and Future Plans:
Upon completion of my graduate certificate, I will have acquired a wide variety of skills in applications
for mobile and tablet devices and will be able to compete in various career opportunities that are both
challenging and dynamic in nature. With the knowledge of latest web technologies,I will return to
India where I will have ample opportunities todevelop native Smartphone applications,
design user interface and implement web security.Back in India, I will be prepared to work
as an iOS programmer, android programmer, mobile application developer, software
developer, computer programmer, programmer analyst, database developer and database
specialist.There are a number of well-reputed multinational companies in Indiasuch as Amazon,
Microsoft, IBM, and so on, that provide great opportunities and a growing career to their employees.
I want to work in such organizations on a reputed position by acquiring the required skills and
knowledge. In the long run, I want to have a growing and successful career in the field of software
development and computer technology in my home country itself.
English Proficiency:
I have achieved an overall score of 7.0 bandin my International English Language Testing System
(IELTS) exam with 7.0 in Reading, 7.0 in Writing, 6.5 in Listening and 6.5 in Speaking. I took the exam
on 18th September, 2020.
