Tips for Your SIP Report


• Follow your institution's formatting rules. Use the correct font, size, margins, and APA
style for citations to make your report professional and easy to read.
• Try to connect classroom theory with your internship tasks. Show how you used academic
knowledge in real job scenarios.
• Write so that your report has a clear flow. Each chapter should smoothly lead into the next.
Begin and end each section with short summaries that connect to your main theme.
• Don't just describe what you did. Analyze why it matters and how it has helped you learn.
• Use charts, graphs, and tables to show data clearly. Label all visuals and refer to them in
your text.
• Check your report carefully for any errors in spelling or grammar. Get feedback from
mentor to improve clarity and content.
