ECONOMIC PROFILE Est Transfer Value: € 900 k Transfermarkt / Salary: €5,000 p/w / Available on a free tansfer

No transfer fee, low level wage demands and signing on fee, at 26 y.o he can still improve.
FUTURE ADDED VALUE Good probability of significant future transfer fee and profit.

Immense physical capacity, speed, stamina, and endurance. Athletic profile, agile and fast, he can cover large spaces quickly.
Impressive aerobic capacity to repeat long high intensity runs, constant forward runs and recovery runs, even in the final moments of
the match.

Via his excellent timing in overlapping runs, running from deep during the build up, he provides the teams attacking width.
His ability to cover large spaces quickly provides a strong option to attack around the outside of the opposition block.

Tactically intelligent and developed reading of the game during attacking actions, he adapts his movements to what is happening in
front of him. Quick to make angles and take up positions wide and high during the construction phase. Creates passing lines and
displays variety in his forward runs, repeated overlapping runs are combined with sporadic underlapping runs and runs into space on
the outside to receive the pass as the third man.

Strong in information gathering and body positioning when running back to goal to defend counter attacks. Effective at defending
space in behind against a switch of play and to protect the space between himself and his RCB to prevent penetration.

Ability to cover long distances quickly and to chase the ball down after opposition swithces of play.

Strong psychological profile, resilient, a good communicator, calm and composed, strong leadership qualities.

More than a defender, fullback who is always in transition, he has the capacity to dominate opponents via his running power.

Lacks the final action. He consistently gets into good advanced areas with time to play crosses from static or on the run. Although
playing crosses into good areas, his crosses lacked precision and rarely led to scoring opportunities.

Average ball striking. He didn’t whip crosses in or drive crosses across the goal.

Lacks variety in chance creation. He didn’t engage the direct opponent in 1v1 offensive duels, consistently looking to play a one-two to
get around the defender. He didn’t take many touches back inside to connect with central team mates and rarely attempted more
difficult passes into the feet of the CF. When narrowed, he didn’t play crosses or open up opportunities to switch play form the inside
channel.

Weakness in 1v1 aerial duels and in head play. He struggled in 1v1 aerial duels against an opponent of similar height when face on to
long balls played from the opposition defence. Clearance headers lacked distance and he wasn’t able to consistently maintain
possession after heading duels.

assessment
A high quality player who could adapt to become a squad
Mark player at a top level club (top 5 leagues).

Provides attacking width: Via overlapping runs and his capacity to cover large spaces
quickly, he provides a strong option to attack around the outside of an opposition block.
Creates space: His capacity to get quickly get into high and wide positions via the
excellent timing in his forward runs, creates more space in central areas and dragged the
opposition wide midfielder back towards their own goal thus limiting their attacking
threat.
High Press: He was quick to move into advanced areas to support his sides high press.
3rd man: Some interchanging of positions, combining with his RCM and RAMF to attack
the inside right channel.
RB / RWB in a back 4 or 5. Unlikely to adapt to a RCB in back 5 due to height (173cm /
5'8''), lack of impact in aerial duels, and limited heading quality.
Suited to an aggressive counter-pressing or organised high press.
Suited to a direct style based on quick transitional play.

full-back / attacking full-back / wing-back

Profile ground blocker filter man (recovery & ground defence)

The outstanding traits of the player were his outstanding aerobic and speed qualities, his swift decision
making and excellent timing in forward runs. Displaying the ability to repeat high intensity forward
runs and recovery runs (even in the 90th minute), he was key in transitions and dominant in attacking
transitions. Tactically intelligent, he reads the game well and makes early forward runs, running
from deep to create numerical equality and overloads on the right wing. His preferred action is to
make long overlapping runs but adapts his movements to what is happening in front of him,
displaying correct decision making to attack via the underlap or as the 3rd man when the
opportunity arises. He provides his sides attacking width and regularly gets into excellent crossing
positions, although he delivers crosses into good areas he didn’t often find a team mate. Playing
quickly of limited touches, he combines well in triangular play to break the opposition high press
and to quickly progress the ball into midfield or the final 3rd. He was however limited in his
creative passing, preferring to play safe, short passes close to him.
In defensive transitions he was hard working and quick to make recovery runs to protect his RCB
and to cover the space in behind. Quick to move into advanced areas to support the high press he
looked to win the ball back early. Excellent concentration levels, he reads the game well, added to
his speed qualities he makes a number of important interceptions. Mixed success in duels, at times
tackling with the wrong foot in 1v1 duels, he struggled in aerial duels against a taller opponent.
An athletic fullback who has the qualities to be a key player in a high energy, direct style of play
based on quick transitions.
