Let’s begin!

ARMS

Start with the beige yarn:

1) 7sc in the MR
2 and 3) 7sc - 2 rounds

Switch to the brown yarn:

4) BLO: 7sl st
5) BLO: 7sc
6 and 7) 7sc - 2 rounds

Change to beige:
8) BLO: 7sl st
9) BLO: 7sc Fasten off and hide the
10) 7sc leftover yarn. There's no
need to stuff.
Change to brown:
11) BLO: 7sl st The arms will be joined to
12) BLO: 7sc the body later, without
sewing.
Change again to beige:

LEGS
Start with the brown yarn, make 8ch. The
first round will be crocheted in an oval
crochet, i.e. on both sides of the foundation
chains. Skip the first chain and work:

1) 6sc, 1inc3, turn, 5sc, 1inc [16]

2) 1inc, 5sc, 3inc, 7sc [20]
3) 20sc in the third loop
4) 20sc
5) 7sc, 4dec, 5sc [16]
6) 5sc, 4dec, 3sc [12]
7 to 11) 12sc - 5 rounds

Switch to the beige yarn:

12) BLO: 1sc, 1inc, 10sc [13]

Let's move on to the detail of the boots.

With the brown yarn, insert the hook into the

first stitch of round 12, in the apparent loops.
Work:
1) 6sc, 1hdc, 2inc hdc, 1hdc, 2sc [14]

The increases should be aligned with the front

of the leg; make adjustments if necessary.

CONTINUATION - LEGS
Fasten off the first leg. On the second leg, make as many single
crochets as you need to reach the inner side (I needed 7) and don't cut
the yarn, as we'll start the body from it.
Stuff both legs.

Before moving on to the body, finish by

embroidering the following details:

- With the black embroidery thread,

simulate a shoelace between rounds 5
and 7 of the legs.

- With light brown yarn, embroider two

V's in the area between rounds 8 and
11. With the same yarn, embroider a
horizontal line in the extra detail round
of the boots, covering two central
stitches.

BODY

Starting from the second leg, make 2ch.

With the amigurumi's feet turned
forward (facing away from you), join the
legs:

18) 15sc in the first leg, 2sc in the chain

loops, 15sc in the second leg, 2sc in the
chain loops [34]

Please note: Here you may need to adjust the number of stitches before
and after the arms so that they are aligned with the sides of the body.

JOINING THE ARMS 1 2

Work the body stitches until you reach the

side. Then insert the hook into a stitch on
the arm, from the outside in. Weave in all
the stitches on the arm, then go to the 3 4

next stitch on the body, the stitch

following the one you wove in before the
arm.

We'll use two colors in the round, brown for the clothing area and
beige for the arms and shoulders area.

Now we'll only use beige.

Please note: on round 34 only make the BLO stitches when working
the brown stitches from round 33. The loops of these stitches need to
be apparent to make the detail of the clothing.

Insert a piece of hot glue (or the

material of your choice) into the
neck to secure it, and close it with a
reverse MR.

ALÇAS DA BLUSA
Turn your Xena's body on its back. With the brown yarn, insert the
hook into the first stitch of round 34 of the body, in the brown loops
that are apparent. Make:

1) 8sc, go up 7ch, go over the shoulder and do 1sc on the front of the
body, 3hdc, 1sc, 1sl st, 1sc, 3hdc, 1sc, go up 7ch, go over the shoulder
and do 4sc at the back of the body. - If you need to change the
number of stitches before and after the arms, the instructions above will
need to be adjusted accordingly.
Hide the leftover yarn.

SKIRT
Turn the body of the amigurumi
upside down. With the brown yarn,
insert the hook into the last stitch of
round 26 of the body, and work:
1) 30sc
2) (4sc, 1inc) x6 [36]
3) 36sc
4) (5sc, 1inc) x6 [42]
5 to 9) 42sc - 5 rounds

Fasten off and hide the leftover yarn.

SKIRT DETAILS
Still with the body of the amigurumi
upside down, insert the hook with
the brown yarn into the first stitch
of round 27, in the apparent loops.

Here we'll be working as if they

were strands of hair. Make:

1 to10) 9ch; 8sc. 2sl st in the next

stitches - 10 strands

Fasten off and hide any leftover

yarn.

Fix the strands with glue around

the skirt; be careful not to stain the
piece .

Using a fine-tipped brush and silver

fabric paint, and paint small dots
along the length of all the strands.

Wait for it to dry very well before

handling the piece again.

SHOULDER PADS
The shoulder pads are worked in flat crochet, i.e. in back and forth row.
Make a chain at the end of each row to turn the piece.

With brown yarn, make 5ch. Skip the first one:

1 to 4) 4sc - 4 rows

Make single crochets along the side, along the bottom and along the
other side. Fasten off and hide any leftover yarn. Make two pieces.

With the gold yarn, embroider the shoulder pads as shown in the
image below. Then glue them to the shoulder area.

BODY DETAILS
With the golden yarn, embroider two lines joining the shoulder pads to the
blouse. Embroider the arms: a horizontal line on round 12, a vertical line in
the area from rounds 4 to 7, followed by two horizontal lines that cross it.
Use the pictures as a guide.

CONTINUATION - BODY DETAILS

With golden yarn, make:

1) 8sc in the MR

Cut the yarn and hide the leftovers. Make

two pieces. Glue them together in the area
between rounds 31 to 34.

With the same golden yarn, embroider two

small lines on the side of the body, right
next to the previous piece.
Embroider a V in the area between rounds
28 and 31, as shown in the image below.
Finish by embroidering a half-moon in the
center.

With the silver yarn, make 20 ch. Make:

1) Join the two ends with 1sl st, and make
another 19sl st [20]

Fasten off and hide the leftover yarn.

Set the piece aside.

Add stuffing while you weave.

EXPRESSION
This is where we bring the
amigurumi to life!

The first step is to indent the eyes. This

step is essential for the expression to
be more marked, as it gives depth to
the face. After indenting the eyes, we'll
move on to the embroidery. See the
images below!
Embroider the outer corner of the eyes with light blue thread. Reinforce
the embroidery if you wish. With the white thread, outline the previous
embroidery. To embroider the upper eyeliner, use black thread and
lengthen the end of the embroidery. Use the sewing thread to embroider
the lower eyeliner.

Embroider the eyebrows between rounds 14 and 15, covering 6

stitches. Slightly curve the end downwards. Reinforce the embroidery as
many times as you like. With beige yarn, embroider the nose between
rounds 18 and 19, covering 3 stitches, centered between the eyes.

HAIR

Xena's hair is made in two layers: there will be two pieces that are exactly
the same, but made separately. Just follow the instructions below twice.
Please note: this is essential for the hair to have a good volume, directly
affecting the final result of the amigurumi.

With black yarn:

1) 6sc in the MR
2) 6inc [12]
3) (1sc, 1inc) x6 [18]
4) (2sc, 1inc) x6 [24]
Close with 1sl st. From here
we'll make the strands, starting
with the fringe.

Always start the strands in the

second chain from the hook,
and always close each one with Please note: these strands are
1sl st in the next stitch. made in hdc instead of sc.

Strand 1) 12ch; 11sc Strands 11 to 24) 31ch; 30hdc

Strands 2 to 9) 8ch; 7sc - 14 strands
- 8 strands
Strand 10) 12ch; 11sc Fasten off and hide the leftover
yarn.
Now we'll do the remaining

CONTINUATION - HAIR
Center the hair on the head, with the smaller strands facing forward.
Position strands 1 and 10 framing the face, and fill in the forehead area
with strands 2 to 9. Using pins, distribute the rest of the strands around
the head and secure them one by one with glue.

Position the second layer in the same way as the first, and also fix the
strands with glue. Flat iron all the strands to make them straight.

 Finishing
- Apply blush to the cheeks and nose using dry
pastel chalk.

- Attach the head to the neck, sew or articulate. If

it's a decorative doll, you can leave it loose, just
attached.

- Glue the chakram (the silver circle we made) to

the side of your Xena's body.
