    “Coward of the County” Song Analysis


    1. What happened to Tommy and his girlfriend, Becky?

    According to the song, after tommy left his girlfriend for work, becky got raped by the gatlin boys
    wherein tommy end up beating them up.
    2. Describe your own feelings after listening to the song.

    My Response: Ruby Ann’s Response:


    At first, I’ve been feeling a little bit I feel emotional because the song gives
    confused when the line says that “But different emotion, it's about standing up
    something always told me, they were for yourself and to your love one's even
    reading Tommy wrong”, but as the song if you need to face your own fear.

    As the third person narrates the song which The song gives different range of

    protect tommy. Tommy is a loving and coward, but when he decided to

    have showed the feeling of bravery and other hand, the Gatlin boys represent

    mentioned that sometimes you need to fight own fear and hate, and the importance
    when you are a man which serves the of standing up for what is right even
    justice and strength. when it is difficult.
