Job Location: Thane /Mumbai Department: Retail Banking Reports to: Chief General Manager Grade: M6/M7 Job Summary: The role carries the overall responsibility and business accountability for Bank's Consumer Banking business. This will involve strategy formulation and execution. Job • Responsible for analysis, development and implementation of strategic business plans Responsibilities: and policies, ensuring organizational growth, targeting maximum profitability and cost effectiveness. • Overseeing business for Retail Banking including Retail Liability (CASA, Term Deposit, Third party insurance, marketing digital products) • Responsible for customer activation, implementing cross-selling strategies and understand customer needs • Accountable for wealth product penetration into retail banking customer base • Develop, execute and manage competent strategies and tactical business plan to penetrate new areas and expand existing ones for a wide range of financial products/ services. • Setting acquisition channels for banking and third-party products sales. • Should hold experience in successfully managing various business lines across Consumer Banking/Wealth Management/ Distribution. • Own and manage multiple functions ranging from product management, customer service and business analytics. • Hands on experience in dealing with external partners like payment gateway companies, POS service providers, etc. • Should be able to develop business strategies, understand market opportunities, competition and create the value proposition. • Should have strong capability in driving processes that are compliant and customer focused. • Set-up and implement governance structure for Wealth vertical of the Bank • Have strong people management skills Education • Post-Graduation with relatable certification Qualification: • Should have at least 15 - 20 years of Banking experience, particularly handling Senior Experience: Management role in Retail Banking, Managing team of 15-20 people. • Detailed understanding and experience of setting up Retail, Wealth and Product proposition. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Behavioral • Excellent communication skills Characteristics: • Ensures attention to detail. • Proficient in domain knowledge. • High level of inter-personal skills & integrity Age: Below 45 years
