QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE FOR USING OF GAS SAMPLING SYSTEM

“Salwico SW2020”

WARNING: BEFORE BALLASTING OF BALLAST TANKS, THE

CORRESPONDING SAMPLING-POINTS MUST BE DISCONNECTED
FROM THE SAMPLING SEQUENCE AT THE SW2020 CONTROL UNIT.
THIS WILL AVOID WATER BEING SUCKED INTO THE PIPES AND
DAMAGING THE SYSTEM
IMPORTANT NOTES:
THE PRESSURE AIR TO THE SYSTEM MUST NEVER BE SHUT OFF.
THE MANUAL SHUT-OFF VALVES SHALL DURING NORMAL
OPERATION AND WHEN THERE IS WATER IN THE WATER BALLAST
TANKS REMAIN OPEN. THIS WILL KEEP THE COUNTER-PRESSURE-
AIR FLOW AND AVOID WATER ENTERING THE PIPES.
