The First Principle

The First Principle
The pandemic has brought out the best and worst in people and each country had to react quickly to
mitigate its negative consequences. Now more than ever, intra and intergroup collaboration has
become crucially important. Dynamic Filipinism can be applied to encourage a sense of global
citizenship that focuses on our common humanity and the sharing of resources and information to
combat the health crisis. It can be applied by strengthening national and global capacities and
resilience to future pandemics. This includes greatly enhancing international cooperation to improve,
for example, data-sharing, research, and local and global production and distribution of medical and
public health counter measures, such as vaccines, medicines, and personal protective equipment.
During these difficult times, we must seize this opportunity to apply Dynamic Filipinism and come
together as a global community for peaceful cooperation that extends beyond this crisis.
