1. How does birth control differ from family planning?
Answer: The difference between birth control from family planning is that birth control is
a method, medicine , or device use to prevent from pregnancy. On the other hand, family
planning is having the desired number of children and when you want to have them by
using safe and effective modern methods.
2. What are the side effects of family planning operation?
Answer: The side effects of family planning operation mostly women experiencing it by
taking pills (contraceptive). A woman will look and feel the same as before. She can have
sex the same as before. She may find that she enjoys sex more because she does not have
to worry about getting pregnant. She will not gain weight because of the sterilization
procedure.
3. What are the three methods of family planning?
Answer: The three methods of family planning are Male condom, Female condom and
Contraceptive sponge.

1. What is the main objective of health programs in the Philippines?
Answer: The main objective of health programs here in the Philippines is to provide
interventions on addressing the triple burden of diseases in this country. For example,
Department of Health (DOH)
2. What does health care program meaning?
Answer: Health Care Program means a program or activity administered or funded by a
state agency to provide health care services, research, education, or goods.
3. What are the 4 vital signs and why are they important?
Answer: The four vital signs are heartbeat, breathing rate, temperature, and blood
pressure. This is important because your health care provider may measure, or monitor
your vital signs to check your level of physical functioning.
4. What is an example of a healthcare program?
Answer: Barangay Health Workers (BHW) are frontline health workers who provide
basic health education and selected primary health care services.
5. Is 20 breaths per minute Normal?
Answer: No, the normal respiratory rate for an adult at rest is 12 to 18 breaths per minute.
A respiration rate under 12 or over 25 breaths per minute while resting may be a sign of
an underlying health condition.
6. What is normal heart rate?
Answer: A normal resting heart rate for adults ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute.
7. What are the health programs in Barangay?
Answer:

•BLOOD DONATION PROGRAM

8. What are the 5 major vital signs?
Answer: The five major are;
Temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
