At the end of the discussion, the students should be able to:
1. identify the plural form of regular nouns; and
2. use plural form of regular nouns by adding s or es.

Okay class, what you have answered earlier


has to do with our topic for today. Today we
are going to tackle about the Plural form of
regular nouns. So at the end of our
discussion, I am expecting you to identify the
plural form of regular nouns and answer the
given activity.

Regular Nouns- are nouns that become
plural if an -s is added to them.

Singular Nouns- are words use to indicate


that there is one person, animal, place thing
or idea.
Plural Nouns- nouns which are more than
one are plural nouns. It is also formed by
adding (s) or (es) at the end of the word.

Example:
stranger- strangers
student- students

If a noun ends with an s,ch,sh,x or z, and (es)
is added to make the noun plural.

Example:
kiss-kisses
sketch-sketches
fox-foxes
quiz-quizzes
