Pozibreak 4SD/NW8/NW16 [L]

POZIBREAK 4SD/NW8/NW16 [L] is a geocomposite capillary break layer comprising a cuspated HDPE
(High Density Polyethylene) core with a non-woven geotextile filter thermally bonded on both sides. It is
a high performance geocomposite providing an effective capillary break and lateral drainage layer with

Data Sheet
the cuspated core maintaining an open void by a combination of high compressive strength and excellent
support to the geotextile under the action of soil pressure. The lower side of the core is practically
impermeable, providing a barrier to capillary moisture for extra protection in addition to the void.
The textile filters have a flap extending beyond the core on both edges. The product is wide width and
has a 50mm impermeable selvedge on one edge to facilitate overlap of adjacent rolls and the overlaps
are usually configured to allow water to exit. Its major application is as a capillary break layer in saline,
contaminated or frost-susceptible ground conditions.
