13. Bottom face of a horizontal dielectric slab is coated with a conducting paint and at centre of the top face
is placed a small mercury drop, which does not wet the plate. Thickness of the slab is d and relative

mercury drop spreads on the dielectric slab at negligible rate. At what battery voltage will the mercury

15. A large block of mass m = 5kg is located on a horizontal frictionless surface. A second block of mass m
= 2kg is located on top of the first block. The coefficient of friction (both static and kinetic) between the
