BODY

BACK AND FRONT PIECE

Remember to start and finish each row with 1 edge stitch.
With 4 mm needles CO 96 (104) 112 (120) 128 sts.
Work 4 rows in garter stitch, then 2 (4) 4 (4) 4 rows in stockinette stitch

In the next row, start the openwork pattern according to the given chart. Repeat the rows of
the openwork pattern, i.e. those with yo's 14 (16) 17 (18) 19 times, working 3 rows between
them with stockinette stitch, as shown in the chart.
After the last row of openwork pattern stitch, work 1 row (front) and 4 rows (back) with
stockinette stitch.

In the next row start forming the neckline, BO the middle 26 (26) 28 (32) 32 sts then, on both
sides of the neckline BO in every second row: 3 sts, 2 sts, 1 st, 1 st (all sizes), working at the
same time the remaining stitches according to the pattern.
After 17 (17) 18 (20) 20 repetitions of openwork stitches counting from the beginning of the
piece BO all the stitches on the shoulders.

SLEEVES
With 4 mm needles CO 52 (60) 60 (68) 68 sts. Work 4 rows in garter stitch then 4 rows (all
sizes) in stockinette stitch. In the next row, start an openwork pattern according to the given
chart, increasing 1 st on both sides of the sleeve in every 6th row.
After 5 (5) 7 (8) 8 repetitions of openwork stitches counting from the beginning of the piece
work 3 rows in stockinette stitch BO all the stitches.

COLLAR
Sew the shoulders, on 3 mm round needles, pick up sts on the wrong side around the
created head opening.
NOTE: You should start and finish picking up the stitches in the center of the front part of
the shirt.
The collar is worked back and forth in stockinette stitch, but in every second row (knit rows)
after and before the edge st, work kfb and then to create the edge of the collar, work two
stitches after and before the edge stitch in a garter stitch, i.e. knit them in every row.
To make the collar fit nicely, place two stitch markers spaced evenly on the back and inc 1 st
every 5 rows in the marked spots.
Work this way 30 (30) 40 (40) 40 rows then, work 2 rows in garter stitch. BO all sts.

FINISHING
Sew all parts of the shirt and wave all ends. Block gently with your favourite method.

Enjoy!
