Essay Against Animal Testing

Writing an essay on the topic of opposing animal testing can be both challenging and emotionally
charged. On one hand, you need to present a compelling argument against the practice, highlighting
ethical concerns, the impact on animal welfare, and potential alternatives. On the other hand, it's
crucial to maintain a balanced and well-reasoned tone, avoiding emotional appeals that might weaken
the overall persuasiveness of your essay.

Researching the subject can be difficult, as you need to delve into scientific studies, ethical
discussions, and historical contexts surrounding animal testing. This requires a comprehensive
understanding of the various perspectives and debates within the field. Additionally, finding credible
sources that support your stance while countering potential counterarguments can be time-consuming.

Crafting a strong thesis statement that succinctly captures your main argument and outlines the key
points of your essay is crucial. It sets the tone for the entire piece and guides your readers through
your perspective. Striking the right balance between providing factual information and appealing to
the reader's emotions is a delicate task, as you aim to create a persuasive and impactful narrative.

Moreover, structuring the essay effectively, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs that logically
present your arguments, and a powerful conclusion, adds another layer of complexity. Each
paragraph must contribute to the overall coherence and persuasiveness of your essay.

Lastly, revising and editing are essential to refine your arguments, check for logical inconsistencies,
and ensure clarity in your writing. It's important to maintain a critical eye during this process, as a
strong essay against animal testing requires meticulous attention to detail.

In conclusion, writing an essay on this topic demands a combination of research, empathy, and
persuasive writing skills. It's a challenging task that requires a careful balance between emotion and
logic to create a compelling argument against a controversial practice.

Ethical Objectivism
There are many meta ethics concepts in philosophy that help deal with common
objection and disparagement between certain situations and topics. The first meta ethics
concept is Ethical Objectivism. Ethical objectivism is a view where an action is deemed
right or wrong without the opinion and thoughts of an individual. The three main
branches of ethical objectivism that will be discussed in the following passages are moral
universalism, moral realism and moral absolutism. The next meta ethicsconcept is ethical
subjectivism. Subjectivism states that a claim is dependent on a persons opinions and
beliefs. Lastly, the third and final meta ethicsconcept is ethical relativism. Relativism
involves culture. The following will reveal objectivism, subjectivism and relativism and
the ramifications of history, strength and weaknesses of these three meta ethics concepts.
It is helpful to identify and differentiate all three topics in order to understand them
completely and thoroughly. Firstly, objectivism is a view that what is right and what is
wrong does not depend on what someone thinks is right or wrong. For example, a view
that the grass is green is solely factual information and does not change whether or not
someone disagrees or agrees with this statement. Therefore, ethical objectivism is
intrinsic. The difference between intrinsic and extrinsic is simple. If something has
intrinsic value it is said to be independent of any outside belief or opinion. If something
has an
Tomorrow When The War Began Analysis
Tomorrow When the War Began In the novel Tomorrow When the War Began written by
John Marsden, we as the readers are asked a continuous question, would you love
someone to the point where you would sacrifice your life for their safety? Marsden helps
us understand love, innocence and maturity through the way he outlines this question in
his novel. Love is a theme in Tommorow When the WarBegan which outlines the bond
between a couple when going through war and tragic loss. It helps us as readers
understand how war can strengthen this bond. Kevin demonstrates this situation by
yelling No I don t give a stuff what s rational and what s logical, Corrie s my mate and I
m not just going to dump her and run. (pg. 281) In this quote... Show more content on

Homer was an easy going laid back type of guy. He didn t care about grades and the
impressions he left on people. Although, throughout the novel we as the readers see a
significant change in Homer, a change for the better. This situation that Homer had
been thrown in, unlike most of the other characters was a good thing. He was slowly
but at the same time quickly maturing, becoming a young man. This can be seen early
on in the novel when Homer makes a big suggestion I think we should split up... We
need to be out of this town by dawn, a long way out of this town. And were running
out of time... (pg. 75). This is one of the first times in the novel where Homer takes the
reins and leads the group. The author once again uses direct speech to tell the story, but
this time he is also doing something which is rarely done in novels based on war.
Marsden is showing the pro s in war, he is moving away from the stereotypical storylines
and showing how war can change people for the better. We as readers are being
challenged as we don t want to believe war is a good thing or at least partially a good
thing. Even if it s for something as small as one person becoming a better person then
they were before. Homer was fighting a war but at the same time slowly winning a new
Russi An Extraordinary Outburst Of Social And Cultural
Change
Russia has been around for a long time and has evolved over the years. Their ability to
adapt to their environment as a country and, essentially, become a powerhouse in the
world, is a great feat in itself. Over time Russia developed their social climate, economic
system, military power and efficiency, as well as infrastructure. Today, I will be
discussing how their military, political views, economics, social views, infrastructure
and physical environment all relate together and has enhanced Russia s ability to stay
a powerhouse. Russia has been around since 800 b.c. and has seen the rise and fall of
many bad leaders as well as the rise and fall of many different good political leaders (
A brief history of Russia , 2005). Since the Soviet era, Russia has had an extraordinary
outburst of social and cultural change ( A brief history of Russia , 2005). Russia
developed radical styles of constructivism, futurism, and supremacism during this time. In
1924, there was a struggle for power in the Communism party after Lenin s death ( A
brief history of Russia , 2005). During the latter half of the decade, a victor emerged and
that was Stalin. He immediately dictated the way agricultural lands were collectivized,
creating large, state run farms. Industrial development was pushed along at breakneck
speed, and production was almost entirely diverted from consumer products to capital
equipment. Stalin repressed religion, closing churches, destroying them and converting
