With 400 hp (294 kW) and 1,900 Nm max. torque, the MAN D20 Euro 2 engine offers reliable, economical
and very powerful propulsion. A high-torque performance characteristic with extremely economical fuel
consumption distinguishes this 10.5-litre six-cylinder in-line engine with Common-Rail injection.
The most-easily maintained version without emission control has proven itself in particular in environments
where the fuel quality is low.
The engine can be operated with diesel (DIN EN 590) as well as with paraffinic diesel fuels (DIN EN 15940),
e.g. HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oils).

The MAN 16.22 OD manually operated gearbox has 16 forward gears and 2 reverse gears. It is an overdrive
gearbox (i16
= 0.84) and is designed for a maximum input torque of 2,200 Nm. Thanks to the large gear spread (16.43)
and optimum gear stepping, it succeeds in combining performance and economic efficiency in all
driving/deployment situations.
The fully synchronised gearbox allows the driver to change gear quickly, precisely and with low wear – the
integrated gearshift servo assistance also makes shifting very comfortable with minimum effort.

The TN cab with an exterior width of 2.24 m impresses through its relatively compact design and low weight.
Thanks to the corresponding payload benefit, it is ideal for special applications such as tanker and silo
vehicles as well as timber, construction material and refrigeration transport.
Numerous roof stowage units above the windscreen offer sufficient space for personal items and luggage
with a capacity of a good 40 l. Together with the two storage boxes behind the seats (also accessible from
outside), there is a total storage capacity of around 450 l. Additional storage facilities with a volume of up to
approx. 130 l (depending on configuration) are available in the centre area under the bed.
The large interior length creates a pleasant interior atmosphere. The comfortable bed with high-quality slatted
mattress support ensures the best possible rest and sleeping comfort.
