Executive Summary
● The “Defender” has to fend off the intrusion of unknown objects into the system.
Build defences, upgrade defences and strategically place the defences. Survive until

● Many exciting features such as achievements, skins changing courses, and unique
enemies.
● Defender can merge 2 of the same unit to create an upgraded version of the tower.
There are lots of tower variations for the defender to find out as the game
progresses.

High Concept
SpaceG is a strategy game in which players need to defend the tower with a tower defence
mechanism.The defender has to fend off the intrusion of unknown objects into the system.
Building defences, upgrading defences and strategically placing the defences is the task which
the player must do to defend and survive until the very end.
Genre
Strategy game with tower defence mechanisms to defend the tower from invasion by enemies.
Different stages are provided to the player in order to defend against with a variety of strategies.
Hooks
- Unique Course: The course of where the unknown objects go will change
overtime.
- Unique patterns: Each unknown object will have their own characteristics such as
immunity to physical attacks or having the ability to regenerate.
- Merging: Defender can merge two types of defence to create a special unit.

Gameplay Highlights
- Round based game, where each round will have a set amount of
enemies that will try to invade the system. Each round gets
increasingly harder.

The screen is split into half and both have the same amount of
starting cash, same hp, same aliens, and same map with the same
Technology Highlights
● Realistic shooting animation. The cannons will recoil and have cartridges falling
out after shots are being fired.
● Realistic shooting audio sampled from real life cannon demos that were used in
wars.
● Relaxing Jazz Hop music featuring different artists such as Rin Ishi as background
music to relax while playing a stressless game.

- This game emphasizes more on time killing rather than gameplay. Thus, portable
hardware is our main target because it makes the game more accessible to people. In
addition, not everyone owns a PC or laptop. Though for people who own a personal
computer, they can also play the game on it.

● Unpolished sketches of in-game turret designs and sprite designs.
● Each sprite has unique animations, sound effects and other details.
● Maps with specially designed maps that have balance.

Game world
It's the year 2050, and humanity has undergone dramatic changes due to technological
advancements and environmental challenges. The world has become more interconnected and
globalised than ever before, with advanced AI systems, smart cities, and ubiquitous automation.
Climate change has also had a significant impact, with rising sea levels, extreme weather events,
and widespread environmental degradation.
Humanity has become a spacefaring civilization, with a significant presence and infrastructure in
space. With Earth's resources becoming increasingly scarce, governments and private companies
have invested heavily in space exploration, mining, and colonisation.
The first permanent human settlements have been established on the Moon and Mars, with
research stations and industrial facilities supporting the growing population. Large asteroid
mining operations provide essential resources, including water, metals, and rare earth elements,
for use in space and on Earth.
Layout design
Humanity, who has abandoned Earth, is now living in space, on different planets, moons and
even man-made aircrafts, constantly travelling around the space, encountering different
environments and situations.

Backstory
One day, a lot of spaceships suddenly appeared above the moon. They started to wander
above the moon and attack humans round by round then grabbed the human’s resources. The
humans were forced to move to the safety area and started to build towers with advanced
technology to defend the attack from the aliens. The humans constantly upgraded their tower to
protect the human's safety area.
Objective
In singleplayer mode or co-op mode, players are allowed to plan their strategy to cope
with every round of attack. Every round will appear different enemies and abilities to
break out the defences that are arranged by players. Players can use money to upgrade
the tower to enhance the defence and defeat the stranger enemies. Other than that,
players need to manage money wisely which is obtained from defeating the enemies.
This can prevent players from encountering money when they fall in difficulty, which
decides their fate of winning or losing.
In PvP mode, The rounds will start automatically, deploying aliens to force players to
build up their defences. Each round and each alien killed will award the players with
currency to either go defensive or go offensive. If a player wishes to seal their
opponent’s fate, they can use their own currency to send additional aliens to the other
side, in hopes of killing them. The goal of this mode is to defend yourself until the
opponent runs out of health points.
Characters
Capricorn “Defender” ♑︎
The Capricorn is an Artificial Intelligence that is in charge of leading the towers to defend
their turf. It is an “artificial character” that is being controlled by players, or so called
“defenders”. Its sole purpose is to not let a singular invader slip by the defence.
Mission or Story Progression
Act 1
Mission 1: Introduction - The player's home planet is under attack by alien ships. The
player must set up basic defence towers to fend off the invaders and protect their
planet.
Mission 2: Asteroid Field - The player must defend their planet from an asteroid field
that is heading towards it. The player must destroy the asteroids before they crash into
the planet and cause damage.
Mission 3: Mining Outpost - The player must protect a mining outpost from alien attacks
while it collects resources. The player must build and upgrade towers to defend the
outpost from waves of attackers.
Act 2
Mission 1: Deep Space - The player's fleet has been ambushed in deep space by a group
of alien warships. The player must use their advanced towers and tactics to defeat the
enemy and escape safely.
Mission 2: Space Station - The player must defend a space station from a massive alien
invasion. The station houses important research and technology that the aliens want to
capture. The player must use all available resources to hold off the enemy assault and
protect the station at all costs.
Mission 3: Enemy Base - The player must infiltrate and destroy an enemy base that is
producing dangerous weapons. The player must navigate through a heavily fortified area
and use their towers and weapons to overcome the enemy defences and destroy the
base, eliminating the threat.
Act 3
Mission 1: Final Assault - The player must defend their home planet from a massive alien
armada that is determined to destroy it. The player must use all of their resources and
tactical skills to defeat the enemy and save their planet.
Mission 2: Black Hole - By miracle, a black hole appeared out of nowhere and warped
the player along with the enemies into a field of absolute gravity. The player must fight
off the alien creatures and use their towers to survive in this rough condition.
Mission 3: Endgame - The player must face the alien leader in a final battle to determine
the fate of the galaxy. The player must use all of their skills and towers to defeat the
enemy and end the war once and for all.
