History
The Church of England’s earliest origins date back to the Roman Catholic Church’s influence in Europe
during the 2nd century. However, the church’s official formation and identity are typically thought to
have started during the Reformation in England of the 16th century. King Henry VIII is considered the
founder of the Church of England.
Mainly, the reason for Henry VIII's break with the Church was the fact that the monarch did not want
to share his achievements and wealth with the holy institution; In addition, Enrique wished to get his
wife's divorce so that he could marry someone else with a male heir. ( ko thêm vào slide chỉ đọc )
2. Beliefs
Anglicans believe that there is only one God, but there are three elements to this one God:
+ God the Father
+ God the Son
+ God the Holy Spirit
-> that human beings' decision to reject this eternal God and live according to their own standards
causes a relational breakdown between them that God the Son, Jesus Christ, lived and died to give
people a model and a way to be reconciled with God.
3. Parts of the Anglican Church
The Anglican Church can be divided into three categories, distinguished by their views on certain
biblical doctrines. These divisions are known by the following names: High Church, Low Church, and
Freedom.

High Church

low church
High Church : In the first case, it is about the more conservative view of this doctrine, because it has
more to do with the power and nobility of the English language.
The High Church accepts all sacraments, as well as iconic images of Catholics. Because of its proximity
to the Catholic Church, members of this branch are known as Anglican Catholics.
Low Church : The Low Church, for its part, deals with the most reformist outlook in the Anglican
Church; therefore, they are considered the purest. From this division, famous Episcopal Churches
were born in the United States..
Members of this division do not like to associate with Catholics and tend to emphasize the Protestant
character of their religion. In addition, they are Calvinist, because they base their beliefs on these five
points of departure from this other line of protest.
Free people : To the liberals, these were not considered a branch of the Anglican Church; however,
they became known by this name to groups of Englishmen who made a series of changes in the main
Anglican precepts.
These opennesses mostly revolve around women's participation in the Church - they support women
as archbishops and pastors-, they also endorse gay marriage and their ideology. tends to the left (they
maintain socialist ideology).
4. The Anglicans in England
+ Anglicans believe that the Christian life involves regular praise and prayer, both private and public,
and that Christians must practise what they preach and pray - both on Sundays (the day when
Anglicans normally gather for worship) and every day, as they seek to live out their worship.
+ Anglicanism developed its own criteria from the British political and social context. For example, the
Anglican Church decided to preserve all Catholic sacraments, as well as most of the structure of
Christianity.
