    Artificial Intelligence in Modern Era

    Ladies and Gentleman. Friends, Teachers and the Honorable Judges. It is a pleasure for me to
    meet you all in this beautiful day on the Afternoon. Hello, my name is Raffa and I’m here like to
    talk about the effect of Artificial Intelligence in Modern Era. Some of us know what is Artificial
    Intelligence but not the effect of it, but we should know what’s AI and how does it work.
    Artificial Intelligence, or AI is A machine that’s able to learn, make decisions, and take action
    even when it encounters a situation it has never came across. AI in definition is not those talking
    robots or computers who have personality like you see on movies like star trek, starwars and so
    on, Then what’s the difference? In simple terms, non –AI computer program is programmed to
    do the same task over and over possibly doing the same mistake on every attempt, meanwhile
    AIs are able to learn and solve complex tasks including the task they haven’t encountered. For
    Example, self-driving on cars such as Tesla wont programmed their cars to navigate every
    intersection on every road in the United States, instead they use AI that are able to use sensors to
    know what’s going on around them and react correctly to real world situations regardless if they
    encountered it before or not. The reason for it is because it’s impossible for programmers to
    program every situation on every cases, so you need to build a computer system that are able to
    adapt.

    Artificial Intelligence relies on a process called machine learning to develop complex algorithms
    that trains their ability to act intelligently, Machine Learning is when computers or machines
    take information from data they gathered and then developing new information based on it. The
    way they do this is by giving the computer with massive dataset, trained on various ways by
    humans then learns how to adapt based on that training. Some AI train it’s Computer Vision
    since it’s one of the key to create a self-driving car. Computer vision is a process by which AIs
    see and interpret the physical world, either through images and videos, or directly through
    sensors.

    In the 21st century, AI has become transformative technologies impacting almost in every way of
    our lives, from the way we work and communicate to how we interact to each other. There are 3
    points of the effect. First, Workforce. AI able to replace human workers at low-skill jobs at a fast
    rate, possibly making the cost lower for the company. This raises concerns about unemployment
    since AI is taking over, however we humans can save energy to use AI as a tool to do repetitive
    and low value tasks. Second, by automating tasks. AI frees up human workers on higher-level
    activities that require creativity, critical thinking, and empathy. This if it’s usage are not limited
    will make human lazy and lacks the skill for critical thinking. Last, Humans will interact more
    with AI than with others, if not limiting ourselves interacting with AI. it will impact ourselves
    both mentally and physically.
    In conclusion, we can use AI for our needs, but we also have to set a limit on using AI. If we set
    limit on AI usage, we won’t be too dependent with it. With AI, we can change the world. Okay,
