Sub: Inviting applications for Degree Certificates for the 59thAnnual
Convocation of Bangalore University reg;
Ref: Approvalof the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor dated: 04.12.2023.

Applications are invited for Degree Certificates from the cligible candidates for
the 59thAnnual Convocation of Bangalore University. Only those candidates who
have been declared successful in the Degree Examination conducted by Bangalore
University till October/November-2023, and earlier periods and who have not taken
the Degree Certificate till now, are eligible to apply for this Convocation.

The prescribed application form may be downloaded from the University Website
www.bangaloreuniversity.karnataka.gov.in the application forms are available in
the Departments/ Colleges also.
PRESCRIBED FEES FOR DEGREE CERTIFICATE ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Application fee).
a. Convocation fees for Indian Nationals Rs. 1575/
b. Convocation fees for Forcign Nationals Rs. 6015/
2. For students of Autonomous Colleges: (Including application fee)
a. Convocation fees for Indian Nationals Rs. 3130/
b. Convocation fecs for Foreign Nationals Rs. 11705/
3. For Ph.D Students

Fines for those who have not taken the Degree In addition to the
Certificate after completing the Degree is as follows: Above prescribed fee:

The Candidates should invariably enter their contact address/Telephone
Nos./Mobile/ E.Mail ID on the application for further correspondence, if any.
Provisional Result Sheet enclosed along with the Convocation application will
not be accepted and not considered for issue of Degree
Certificate.
The candidates while filling the convocation application should write their names
in full as registered in the university Examinations, the Optionals/ Electives
/Specialization subjects offered by them and Xerox copies of marks cards of all the
University Examinations passed should be enclosed. The candidates should ensure
that the particulars entered in the application forms tally with the details in
the Marks cards regarding name and subjects of study.
The candidates, whose results are withheld as per Marks cards, should get
them
released before submitting the Convocation Application. The copies of Marks Cards
with results released should be enclosed to the application. Marks cards
requiring
correction like name correction, totaling etc., should be corrected before applying for
the Convocation. In case of candidates applying for P.G.Degree Certificates they
should apply along with MarksCards showing the Class declared.
The Convocation fee once paid will not be refunded or Re- adjusted for the next
Convocation.
Only candidates who have been declared successful in the Degree Examination
conducted by the Bangalore University during October/November-2023 and earlier
periods are eligible to apply for this Convocation.
Candidates are required to submit the application to the Principals of the
respective Colleges on or before the specified date mentioned above.
The candidate while filling the Convocation application form should affix their
recent two passport size photographs, one attested by the principal of the respective
College without fail.
The Principals/ The Heads of the PG Departments of the University /Directorate of
Correspondence Courses & Distance Education, Bangalore University are also
requested to bring this to the notice of old students (who have not applied for
obtaining the Degree Certificate) to pay the Convocation fees to prevent any hardship
to them in future.

UNIVERSITY

The Principals/The Heads of the PG Departments of the University/ Directorate of

Correspondence Courses & Distance Education, Bangalore University are requested
to scrutinize the applications with reference to the academic documents from the
records maintained in the Colleges /Departments / Directorate of Correspondence
Courses & Distance Education (In respect of Medical Faculty, the Internship
completion certificate should be enclosed) and transmit the same to the University
along with 03 copies of the list in the following proforma.
