    Llavero de un lindo gato a crochet
    This cute cat crochet pattern is my most popular YouTube video tutorial. If you need
    any help while making the free cat amigurumi pattern below, I recommend you to
    watch this video. It is full of tips and tricks.
    This is an easy beginner crochet pattern, you do not need much yarn to make this cat.
    It is perfect for leftover yarn, because of it’s small size.

    The small cat that I use as a keychain was made with sport weight cotton yarn and
    a 2.5 mm crochet hook.
    But you can use any yarn that you like for this pattern. If you use thicker yarn and a
    bigger crochet hook, your cat Amigurumi will be much bigger. The bigger cat that I
    made from the same pattern was crocheted with plush Super Bulky chenille yarn.

    TIP Chenille/Velvet or other similar yarn: The body of the cat might look a bit to
    oval when crocheting it, don’t worry about it, it will be fine when you put stuffing in
    it.

    Materials:
    These are the materials that I used when making this free cat amigurumi pattern. You
    can replace them with other materials. If you wish to crochet a larger or smaller
    version of this mini cat amigurumi you can just use a thicker or thinner yarn/crochet
    hook.

    materials.

    Cotton Sport Weight version 5 cm / 2 inch:


    – Grey catania cotton color: 172
    – Dark Grey catania cotton color: 429
    – Black catania cotton color – 110
    – Synthetic Poly filling

    Chenille Super Bulky version 10 cm / 4 inch:


    – Grey Chenille yarn
    – Dark Grey Chenille yarn
    – Black Chenille yarn
    – Synthetic Poly filling

    Supplies:
    – Scissors
    – Tapestry needles with blunt point, nr. 16 or 17
    – Pins
    – Crochet hook size 2.5 mm 4/0 for the cotton or 5.0 mm H for Chenille yarn

    Free Amigurumi pattern

    Tail:
    Use grey yarn

    Rnd 1: start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)

    Rnd 2: (sc, inc in next st ) repeat 3 times (9)

    Rnd 3-5: sc in all 9 st (9)

    Rnd 6: (sc in next st, dec) repeat 3 times (6)

    Rnd 7-10: sc in all 6 st (6)

    Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

    Stuff the tail with fiber filling.

    Body:
    First make two ears:

    First Ear:

    Use grey yarn

    Rnd 1: start 4 sc in a magic ring (4)

    Rnd 2: inc 4 times (8)

    Rnd 3: sc in all 8 st (8)

    Fasten off with a slst.

    Second Ear:

    Use grey yarn

    Rnd 1: start 4 sc in a magic ring (4)

    Rnd 2: inc 4 times (8)


    Rnd 3: sc in all 8 st (8)

    Rnd 4: sc in next 4 st, ch 3, (continue crochet in first ear, start in the first st of
    the last round) sc in all 8 st, sc in the 3 ch, (continue in the second ear) sc in
    next 4 st (22)

    Mark the beginning of each round with a piece of yarn, so you can count the
    stitches in each round later.Use one long piece of yarn to do this, watch this

    Rnd 5-6: sc in all 22 st (22)


    Rnd 7: (sc in next 10 st, inc in next st ) repeat 2 times (24)

    Rnd 8: (sc in next 3 st, inc in next st ) repeat 6 times (30)

    Rnd 9-12: sc in all 30 st (30)

    Sew one eye on round 8, between st 5-6.

    Sew the nose between rounds 8-9 on st 8, there should be 2 stitches


    between the nose and the eye. Sew the other eye on round 8, two stitches
    from the nose, so between the nose and the eyes are two stitches.

    Sew the stripes on the body between rounds 9-10 and 10-11. The front and
    back top (between Rnds 9-10) stripes are 3 stitches wide and the front and
    back bottom (between Rnds 10-11) stitches are 4 stitches wide.

    If you want you can turn the cat into a keychain by sewing two strands of
    folded yarn in the top and secure it in the inside of the body.

    Sew the two top stripes on the body on rounds 5-6 (on the front and back of
    the cat )

    Rnd 13: (sc in next 3 st, dec) repeat 6 times (24)

    Rnd 14: (sc in next 2 st, dec) repeat 6 times (18)

    Stuff the body with fiber filling

    Rnd 15: (sc in next st, dec) repeat 6 times (12)

    Rnd 16: dec 6 times (6)

    Finish the body by taking the last strand of yarn and sewing it through the
    front loops of every crochet stitch that you made in the last round. Pull the
    yarn tight to close the hole. Now stick a needle under the hole and weave in
    the yarn end.

    Sew the tail on round 12 of the body.


    Now your cat is done!
