Experience:
Provides direct patient care in the form of evaluating and documenting patient clinical
assessments and IV therapy as aligned with company, federal and state policies.
Prescribes necessary medications as necessary to mitigate acute infusion reactions, under
the supervision of the infusion center Medical Director.
Assists with the creation and implementation of policies and procedures that support
clinical staff and patient care.
Oversees and evaluates infusion nursing services and the implementation of policies and
procedures to ensure coordination and follow through in care delivery.
Assists in the selection, orientation, and ongoing training of clinical staff, inclusive of
other Nurse Practitioners, infusion RN’s and clinical admins.
Manages employees through establishing performance goals, allocating resources, and
maintaining an appropriate staffing ratio for the AIC.
Assures that departmental staff inclusive of other NP’s, infusion RN’s and clinical
admins, complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, and participate in continuing
education, as required and as needed to provide safe and professional services to our
patients.
Assures that all patient related documentation, and clinical reports are accurately
completed, submitted and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external
regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process
Assists the Chief Operating officer in ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies
governing health care delivery by monitoring onsite clinical operations and initiating
changes where required.

Work autonomously providing acute, primary, general and preventative care to adults and
geriatrics
Order, analyze, and interpret results of diagnostic test such as labs, EKGs, and X-rays
Perform physical examinations, and complete history and physicals on patients
Complete new patient examination for admission to rehab and long-term care
Perform initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and daily
assessments
Manage chronic health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia,
emphysema, heart disease, heart failure, and etc.
Manage mental illnesses such as mood disorders, personality disorders, psychotic
disorders, substance abuse disorders, and trauma-related disorders
Formulate treatment plans based on standards of care and professional guidelines
Monthly chronic care management visits
Education and consultation with patient on medication purpose and compliance
Diagnosis and treat acute illnesses, infectious disease, and injuries in an urgent and acute
care setting to include orthopedic and dermatological conditions
Prescribe medications based on efficacy and safety
Complete annual health risk assessments on Simpra Plan Members

Work autonomously providing primary, general and preventative care to all age groups
and cultures from adolescent to geriatrics

Manage trauma and laceration repair via suturing or stapling
