Rovie Ann: To spiritually open this program, may I ask everybody to stand for
the prayer for the Lord’s guidance and blessings to be led by Lorna

Please all rise.
Richard: To give us a quick glimpse of the couple’s love story let us watch and
enjoy the Audio-Visual Presentation.

Rovie Ann: And to entertain us with her wonderful voice let us welcome with a
sounding applause _______________________

Richard: At this juncture, let us witness the slicing of the cake.

The Cake Cutting has a slightly different symbolism. The hand of the
groom is placed over the hand of the bride when cutting the cake to symbolize
his support for her and her promise to take care of him and their family.

Furthermore, the fact that couples are encouraged to cut from the bottom tier
symbolizes the longevity and continuity of their relationship. Last, but
definitely not least, the custom according to which the bride and groom feed
each other from the cake symbolizes their commitment to take care of one
another.

Rovie Ann: Let us proceed to the wine drinking

Wine is a universal symbol - of the richness of life and sweetness of
love. So it is appropriate, that on this joyous occasion, you toast life with this
ancient symbol. The Bride and Groom each take a glass of wine, they
both drink from it. How about a kiss from the couple!

Richard: I think we are already excited and hungry to partake the food on the
buffet table
The flow before partaking the food, each table will rise and approach the
couple over there for the group pictorial and after that, the group may
proceed to the buffet table to get their food. Wait for your table to be
called to do the flow. We will do this para dili kaayo ta mag-guot as we
approach the buffet table. I hope it is clear for everybody and thank you
for your cooperation.

Let us now turn on our appetite to the blessings that our newlywed
prepared for us. And for this, may I call in ___________ for the blessing
of food.
(After the prayer)

Rovie Ann: Let us be entertained by the intermission number from
