The management of radio and television station, Democratic Voice of Burma suspect three people at the Thailand office of having embezzled 1.7 million. Foreign Ministry stopped support for now.

The independent radio and TV station is based in Oslo, and send uncensored news via satellite and shortwave. It is estimated that 5 million Burmese have access to the broadcasts.
