Action Plan
I. Project Title
Strengthening Excellence in Academic and Technical Skills in TLE (SEATTLE)
Fostering academic excellence, technical competence, and stakeholders partnership through
livelihood programs

II. Rationale
It has been highlighted in the Memorandum Order No. 31 s. 2020 that the weight of performance
tasks in subjects like Technology and Livelihood Education will be 70%. That gives greater
emphasis on the demonstration of knowledge and skills learned in different learning areas of the
subject. The pandemic posed a bigger challenge on how those skills will be contextualized and
how authentic the manifestations will be. Strategies like portfolio assessment, project method, and
testing of procedural knowledge has been widely used to assess students understanding in using
Heutagogy as an approach but the authenticity is always being put into question. The ability to
demonstrate the tasks learned is crucial for students understanding on theories alone does not
guarantee holistic learning.

III.General Objectives
This project aims to satisfy the following objectives:
1. Improve learning achievement;
2. Provide adequate experiential learning support to students;
3. Encourage students and community partners in meaningful learning engagements
through livelihood trainings and programs;

6. Administer livelihood opportunities in different platforms available.
