ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Jane Richmond learned to knit at age 5, relearning the craft through books in her late teens. The unlikely
combination of her two favorite subjects, math and art, are what lead Jane to knitwear design. She has been
publishing her knitting patterns since 2008.
Jane’s designs are classic and simple. She has a minimalist approach to knitwear design and a dedication to
cleanly written pattern instructions. Both a process and product knitter, Jane's goal is to create knits that are
enjoyable to knit and easy to wear.
