    I wish to apply for the position of Senior Director, Development Data & Analytics at the Obama
    Foundation.

    I offer more than 15 years of professional work experience, with strong skills in data analytics, business
    insights, strategy development and consulting. I have deep experience of delivering insightful analysis to
    help solve business problems. I have worked for several blue-chip companies in the US and UK, including
    currently at Amazon, and previously at T-Mobile, Boeing Co., Microsoft Corp, Nationwide Insurance and
    Intuit Inc., Barclays Bank, Pace Micro Technology and GE Retail Finance. 

    I have strong technical skills in qualitative and quantitative research design, project management, data
    analysis, reporting and presentation. As a professional, I have specific experience delivering research
    and analytics in the following areas:  
     Customer product adoption and usage behavior. 
     Customer satisfaction and its business impact (brand, market share and financial outcomes).
     Customer loyalty, specifically expressed in usage intensity, repurchase intent and product advocacy. 
     Consumer trends and implications for marketing and product development.
     Market analysis and competitive intelligence.

    I have strong academic qualifications, including a PhD, MBA, MA and a first class bachelor’s degree.  I
    have formal training in, and proficient knowledge of, SPSS and Excel. I also have a working knowledge of
    SAS. Additionally, with my MBA training, I have the ability to deploy appropriate business analysis tools
    (e.g. Five Forces Model, Product Lifecycle models, BCG and McKinsey Matrix models) to dissect business
    problems and provide deeper analytical insights. I have attended syndicated courses on insights
    generation, and on becoming a trusted advisor to business groups.

    I have extensive experience managing research budgets and relationship with business groups, market
    research vendors and management consultants.

    I am confident that, given my experience and qualifications, I will be able to make an immediate impact
    in delivering the role of market research manager to your client.
