    MATEXIL DAN
    Description:
    It is a high performance, non-staining dispersing agent for the production of level dyed
    shades on polyester with disperse dyes in high temperature exhaust dyeing systems. It
    possesses in-built dispersing action on polyester oligomer to eliminate problems of lower
    rub-fastness in package dyeing and simultaneously clears oligomer residues in the machine.
    Properties:
    Chemical type : Modified condensation product based on sulphonic acid salts.
    Appearance : Brown liquid.
    Ionic nature : Anionic.
    Solubility : Readily soluble in water.
    Compatibility : Stable under acid and alkaline conditions.
    Features:
     Does not stain polyester and ensures optimum brightness and colour clarity even in
    pale shades and with fluorescent optical whiteners.
     Maintains its high dispersing efficiency throughout heating and cooling cycle and so
    prevents dyestuff agglomeration and surface re-deposition which if often encountered
    in heavy shades.
     It has excellent in-built dispersing action on polyester oligomer and can be used as
    an efficient cleaning agent for oligomer deposits that may have accumulated in the
    dyeing equipment
     Maintains a stable dispersion in the presence of high electrolyte concentration and is
    therefore suitable for use in one-bath dyeing processes for polyester cellulosic and
    polyester wool blends.
     Is low foaming and highly effective even at low concentration levels in the dyebath.
    Application:
    1. In circulating liquor yarn package and
    beam dyeing machines 0.5 – 1 g/l in the dye liquor
    2. In jet machines 0.25 – 0.5 g/l in the dyebath
    3. For initial machine cleaning of earlier oligomer deposits
    Treatment in an aqueous bath containing
    2 – 4 g/l Matexil-DAN
    2 - 3 g/l Caustic soda solid
    1 – 3 g/l Sodium hydrosulphite for 20 mins at 120 – 130ºC
    Subsequent cleaning is not generally necessary if the recommended levels of
    Matexil -DAN are employed during dyeing.
    Storage: This product may be stored upto six months in a sealed container. Containers
    should be stored in a cool, dry area. Extended storage at elevated temperatures or exposure
    to direct heat or sunlight could reduce product life. Keep containers sealed when not in use.
    Packing: 50kg & 200 kg HMHDPE containers.
