MARKETING PLAN
The business will target the market within Saint Aloysius Institute of
Technology, Inc. in Ormoc City and areas surrounding it. As the business expands,
the market will also expand, and this will enable the business to serve more
customers, even from faraway areas.

1.1 The Product


Oreo-flavored ice candy will make your day refreshing and help you cool your
mind, especially these days when the climate is changing. This business will be
perfect and ideal to beat the heat of summer, and it’s very affordable.

1.2 Comparison in Quality and with the competitors


First and foremost, unlike the other competitors, which are expensive and
intended only for rich people, our business is very affordable, of good quality, and
can satisfy your cravings.

1.3 Location
The proposed business location of Oreo Ice Candy is at Saint Aloysius
Institute of Technology, Inc. in Ormoc City. A little space for a small product is good
enough; it is a good area to display the product where a lot of students will bypass
and can easily see us. In displaying our products in the said area, our Oreo Ice
Candy is already displayed and ready to sell.

1.4 Market Area


The types of people that would be interested in buying our products are the
teachers, students and also the workers inside and outside of the campus.

1.5 Target Customers


Our target customers will be the students and teachers here at Saint Aloysius
Institute of Technology, Inc., and even those who crave to eat Oreo Ice Candy.

1.6 Pricing strategy


The price depends on the capital we spend. But we make sure that our product will
be good and affordable.

1.8 Daily Demand


The location has a total population of 10,000 including the teachers, students and
passersby. We are targeting about 50% of the total population as our customers.
Approximately the target customers have a frequency of purchase of 667 times a
year.

1.9 Marketing Strategy


The most important element of this marketing strategy is to be politely
delivered. Oreo ice candy must be politely delivered to the respective customers.
And also, the packaging concept must fit the positioning. The customers can avail
the product at a very affordable price. The marketing strategy will seek to first create
customer awareness regarding the products and services offered, develop that
customer base, establish connections with targeted markets and work toward
building customer loyalty and referrals. Our strategy is based on superior
performance in the following areas: Product selection, Product quality, Customer
service. We will also utilize print advertisements such as fliers and post cards to
promote.

1.10 Marketing Survey


Entrepreneur Marketing Survey will conduct an interview with Saint Aloysius
Institute of Technology, Inc. students, friends, and classmates on campus for those
who are interested in buying. The entrepreneur will also conduct an interview on
customer satisfaction. Collected at least 20 customers to be interviewed. By doing
this, the entrepreneur will adjust, control, and meet the wants of the customers.

2.1 Production Process

PROCUREMENT OF MATERIALS

Prepare the materials and ingredients

Boil 1 liter of water

Add evaporated milk and condensed


milk

Add 2 cups of sugar

Mix it well

Add 1 cup cornstarch

Mix well until it thick

Turn off the stove

Add all-purpose cream

Then add Oreo biscuit

Store in a container and once it is

2.4 Maintenance & Repair


Since not all the utensils that the entrepreneur used will last long, During the
activity, the entrepreneur found out that the ladle has a crack. As entrepreneurs, we
need to find ways to solve the problem. Instead of buying a new one, the
entrepreneur decided to use a clean-cut cloth to tie the ladle.

2.5 Sources of equipment


The Oreo ice candy group has done research to find the cheapest store or
mall so that the entrepreneur can save money to buy the equipment and ingredients
to be used in order to get a good result from the product, which is the Oreo ice
candy.
The entrepreneur finds this place in Ormoc City, ‘Otap," where all people can
afford to buy any kind of equipment or tools to be used in cooking at an affordable
price.

2.6 Planned Capacity


Using the available equipment, the entrepreneur can produce pieces in 3
weeks because in one day, he can produce 30 pieces multiplied by 3 weeks, which
is equal to 60.

There is no warranty, just a receipt that the entrepreneur used to monitor the
sales.

The entrepreneur prepared the area at Saint Aloysius Institute of Technology,
Inc., which is located at Cinemar Bldg., Osmeńa Street, Ormoc City.

Our group decided that anyone of us is assigned to deliver and do the


production according to schedule, so that all of us have an assigned task to do. We
have also decided to share the income from our business.

Project Cost Details


 Oreo - is a sandwich cookie consisting of Oreo chocolate wafers with a sweet
crème filling in between.

 Evaporated Milk – is the liquid food obtained by partial removal of wafer only
from milk

 Condensed Milk – is a value-added dairy product made from the partial


evaporation of water from pasteurized milk.

 All-purpose cream – is cream that is applicable for both dessert and savory
dishes.

 Sugar- is a sweet substance that usually in the form of white or brown crystals
