Annotation Within the framework of the study course, students get acquainted with the latest achievements in
the clothing technologies, manufacturing equipment, as well as with the chemical processes of
sewing products. Acquire new forms of clothing production management, the estimation of their
effectiveness as well as basic skills of work and time study.
Goals and objectives of the course in terms of The aim of the study course is to provide students with knowledge, skills and competencies in
competences and skills advanced clothing technologies. Tasks: to provide knowledge about the latest achievements in
clothing preparation, cutting, manufacturing and hygrothermal technologies; to develop the ability
to understand the chemical processes of sewing products manufacturing; to develop the ability to
design a rational technological process for the production of sewn products; to develop the ability
to perform analysis of human activities and technological operations; to develop the ability to use
basic methods of work and time study and standardization; to provide knowledge in the basic
directions of chemicalization in the sewing industry.
Structure and tasks of independent studies In independent work, students develop a project of the technological process of manufacturing a
sewn product - develop a technological graph, perform analysis of technological operations,
monitor and standardize the execution time of organizational operations.
