ISSUES 1 Climate Change
Climate change is a great concern in today’s scenario. This problem has surfaced in the last few
decades. Greenhouse gases are the major cause of climate change. Environmental changes have
several destructive impacts such as the melting of glaciers, change in seasons, epidemics, etc.
SOLUTION: Some of the most promising ways to mitigate climate change are what we call “natural
climate solutions”: the conservation, restoration, and improved management of land, in order to
increase carbon storage or avoid greenhouse-gas emissions in landscapes worldwide
2. To control and minimize the effects of ozone depletion, some solutions are given as follows: (i)
Avoid products that cause ozone depletion,
(ii) Do not buy aerosol products with chlorofluorocarbons; do check your fire extinguishers if
halogenated hydrocarbon is the main ingredient,
(iii) Dispose of old air
SOLUTIONS: It has been suggested that a solution to illegal mining would be to legalize and
regulate artisanal mining, allowing illegal miners to obtain permits to carry out their activities.
Closing illegal and unregulated mines in context with enforcing regulations and maintaining steadfast
legislation regarding a mine’s behavior and processes, the strict and swift closing of illegal or
unregulated mining activity will set an environmental precedent within the industry. Closing and
reclaiming sites of shut-down mines The dangers of allowing no longer working mines to exist can
not only allowing wasted debris the opportunity to rot and decay on site, but it can lead to illegal or
unregulated mining activity.
INDUSTRIAL WASTE Industrial waste is the waste produced by industrial activity which includes
any material that is rendered useless during a manufacturing process such as that of factories, mills,
and mining operations. Industrial waste is defined as waste generated by manufacturing or industrial
processes. The types of industrial waste generated include cafeteria garbage, dirt and gravel, masonry
and concrete, scrap metals, trash, oil, solvents, chemicals, weed grass and trees, wood and scrap
lumber, and similar wastes.
Solution
Stop cutting a tree. And give a punishment for those people who catches a tree without permission.
And try to adopt a tree planting zone.
