as you discover and understand the lesson prepared for you.

Securing a job is the next step you will do after spending four or five years in college.
Preparing pertinent papers like a resume is something that a graduate must have for him/her

Letters, Memos and Electronic Mails
An effective business letter elicits the expected response from the readers. This can be
achieved through a concise, tactful, and accurate writing style. A business letter serves several
purposes: for sales efforts, for complaints, for information dissemination, for relationship
building, for problem-solving, and many others.

Each book in a series uses the integration of literature and language in the teaching of English
proficiency. Although each level focused on a particular type of literature (Philippine Literature for
first year, Asian-African Literature for second year, British-American for third year, and European
Literature for fourth year), other selections outside each particular geographical literacy source were
used.
Body of the Letter
This is in accordance with the concept of intertextuality or the relationship between texts. This means
that one selection, let’s say in Philippine Literature, is related to another selection from a non-
Philippine Literature text (American and European Literature).
I hope that this clarifies the rationale behind the text included in the said series.

Memorandum comes from the Latin term memorare which means “to remember”. A
memorandum, which is commonly shortened to “memo”, is meant to inform as well as to
