    TP-LINK/TELONE ADSL MODEM

    Step 1: Open your Internet Browser (Internet Explorer/Google Chrome/Mozilla Firefox)

    Step 2: Go to the Address Bar on Browser (the address bar is the one that’s normally on
    top where we have a URL e.g.: www.youtube.com).

    Step 3: Delete everything in the address bar.

    Step 4: Enter the IP Address which is: 192.168.1.1 and press Enter/search.

    Step 5: Your Browser should ask you for a Username and a Password. Use the following;

    Username: admin

    Password: admin

    For password change:

    Step 6: Select INTERFACE SETUP on the top bar.

    Step 7: Right under INTERFACE SETUP, select WIRELESS (this should take you to the WI-FI
    configurations page)

    Step 8: On the WI-FI / WIRELESS configuration page, please configure ONLY the following:

    Access Point: Activated

    Broadcast SSID: Yes (should be ticked).This allows the modem to Broadcast the WI-FI
    name.

    SSID: This is the WI-FI Name (Customer can put a desired Name) Authentication type:
    select WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK

    Encryption: select TKIP/AES

    Preshared Key/Password: This is the Password for the WI-FI (Customer can put a desired

    Password)

    NB: WI-FI PASSWORD should be at least 8 characters.

    Step 9: Select SAVE to save the above Configurations.


    For reconfiguration (Modem has 3 lights: Power, DSL and WLAN)

    6. Click Quick Start/Quick Setup and then Run Wizard.

    7. Select appropriate time zone and then click Next.

    8. On this interface, you will be able to configure the internet settings:

    Country: Other

    ISP: Other

    ISP Connection Type: PPPoE/PPPoA

    Username: AAA username

    Password: AAA password

    VPI/VCI: 0/35 respectively

    Connection type: PPPoE/LLC

    9. Click Next and the next interface is for WLAN Settings.

    If you want to change the SSID (Wi-Fi name) and WPA Preshared Key (WiFi password),
    you can change on this interface.

    10. Otherwise click Next and the last page will be for saving the changes made.

    11. Click Next to save the changes.
