• Research Problem: The research question is, do you have any experience?
dealing with difficult students? What are the barriers and issues that problem students face?
Can you elaborate on this? What criteria (formal and informal) are used in the currenteducational
system? informal) pose a challenge to comprehensive identification? What criteria are used to
identify them? What kind of services do they get? What becomes of them in the end? What
strategies are required to manage them? What strategies are necessary to support them?
• Research Method: A content analysis method was used to design and implement this
qualitative approach.
• Research Instrument: The research population included a director, student assistance
system experts, and faculty members who had dealt with "problem students." Before beginning the
interview, the researcher built rapport with the participants and explained the purpose of the study.
The director of the Ministry of Health's Center for Education and Development, the Deputy Minister
of Education, faculty members, and a Faculty in Counseling Psychology with a history of dealing with
"problem students" were among those who participated in the study.
• Gather Data: Purposive sampling was used by researchers to obtain expert opinions on
problem identification and management. Sampling continued until data saturation, and 12 people
participated in the study. One participant dropped out of the study due to a lack of time. Each
interview took place in a private room at the medical school or the Counseling center. We obtained
additional information about the ages and genders of the participants. The participants' mean age
was 52 years (range 42-62 years), and 77% were male and 23% were female. A pilot study was
carried out to begin investigating the expert's experiences.
The interviews were tape recorded to increase the accuracy of data collection. The interviews lasted
between 30 and 60 minutes, and no written notes were taken.
Analyze Data: The inductive qualitative content technique was used to examine the data.
The interviews were immediately transcribed after each one. The meetings' material was
then analyzed to acquire a general idea. Following that, two researchers abstracted and
coded each summary unit. The codes were classified based on their similarities and how
to combine them. Two researchers analyzed and confirmed 12 interview texts. We did not
utilize any program for analysis.
