The above equipment and systems integral to them are complete and ready for functional testing per
Mechanical and Controls Contractors. The prefunctional checklist items are complete and have been
checked off only by parties having direct knowledge of the event. This construction checklist is
submitted for approval, subject to an attached list of outstanding items yet to be completed (See Notes
and Associated Project Issues Log). None of the outstanding items preclude safe and reliable
functional tests being performed.
This Checklist does not take the place of the manufacturer’s recommended checkout and startup
procedures or report. Construction checklist items are to be completed as part of startup and initial
checkout.
Approvals. This filled-out checklist has been reviewed. Its completion is approved with the exceptions
noted below.

Record airflow variation: Y
Adjust building pressure setpoint. Allow
unit to stabilize.
Verify return fan speed modulates to
maintain building static pressure setpoint.
Verify return airflow monitoring station
modulates accordingly.
Record building pressure setpoint: Y
Record building pressure setpoint
adjustments made for testing:
Record airflow variation:
Outside Air Verify outdoor air damper modulates to
maintain TAB minimum outdoor airflow.
Record cfm from BMS: Y
Override outdoor air damper to 0%, start
unit from unoccupied.
Verify supply fan does NOT start unit
outdoor air damper is verified open.
Return Air Override return air damper to 0%, start
unit from unoccupied.
Verify supply fan does NOT start unit Y
return air damper is verified open
Discharge Air Adjust discharge air temperature as
Temperature / required. Allow unit to stabilize between
Economizer variations.
Verify outdoor damper, relief air damper,
heating coil valve, and cooling coil valve 55 deg. F. D.A.T. S.P. Y
operate in sequence to maintain
discharge air setpoint.
