Every sentence has a subject and a verb. The verb usually fells what the subject
is or does.
A. The indefinite pronouns anyone, everyone, someone, somebody, no one,
nobody are always singular subjects. Therefore, they require singular
verbs.
Examples: Everyone has fo be present in the meeting.

Nobody is allowed to leave the hall.
B. Collective nouns take a singular verb, such as a group, a team,
a committee, a class, and a family.
Examples: "7h ¥6arm practises hard before their final match.
The committee decides to go ahead with the plan.
